This guesthouse is centrally located in Marksaxlokk, just steps away from the harbor and all the restaurants. It's an easy 10 min ride from the airport. The room was spacious, modern and updated, and I had a beautiful view of the sea out my window. The rooftop pool is small but very nice for soaking in, with gorgeous views. There are plenty of sun loungers to lay out on. There are also multiple decks in the building you can sit and relax on to enjoy the view. It feels very safe and welcoming for a solo traveler. It is also close to the bus stop. The breakfast was decent with a selection of juice, coffee, cereal, toast, meats, cheese, veggies, yogurt, and fruit.

Set in a typical Maltese Post-War building, Ursulino Valletta offers free WiFi and modern-style accommodation in the City of Valletta, 300 metres from Casa Rocca Piccola. This is a boutique four-star hotel that gets everything right. There is careful attention to detail, exceptional service, and a basic yet high-quality breakfast. The amenities are excellent and one is treated with Molton Brown. The wifi is excellent. The hotel scores a 10 out of 10 for me. Things are kept simple yet at a superior level. The view from the breakfast area must be one of the most spectacular views. Last but not least... and again... the service is at a different level by smart people with a passion for their establishment.

A recently renovated property, Mandera's Boutique Suites & Dorms is set in Valletta near Manoel Theatre, University of Malta - Valletta Campus and Upper Barrakka Gardens. The location is excellent, inside Valletta's walls and a short walk to everything. The main bus terminal is less than a 10 minute walk away. Everything is new and clean and nicely designed. The dorms have nice big lockers with a hanging rail and an electrical socket inside. The beds have curtains for privacy, a shelf and socket and each has their own fan, which I reqlly appreciated as another guest kept turning the air conditioning off. The staff were easily contactable via WhatsApp and responded quickly. I recommend writing the entry codes down on a piece.of paper so you don't have to worry about not being able to get in if your phone dies!

Situated in Sliema, Sliema Bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms offers beachfront accommodation 80 metres from Fond Ghadir Beach and offers various facilities, such as a terrace and a shared lounge. Great location, restaurant in nice bars are near to the apartment. The owner is fantastic with a lot of suggestions where to go, or where to eat. The bus stop is the front of apartments, the beach also. If was really nice stay

Located within 600 metres of Qui-Si-Sana Beach and less than 1 km of Fond Ghadir Beach in Sliema, Tinja Bnb provides accommodation with seating area and a kitchen. Beautiful apartment renovated with great taste and imagination just a couple of steps from the port. Super nice hosts who served us with useful information whenever we asked for help being our first time in Malta. The dogs are super cute too! :)

Set in St Paul's Bay, just 500 metres from Tax-Xama Bay Beach, Casa Ricca offers beachfront accommodation with a garden, a terrace, a shared lounge and free WiFi. Amazing location and a true gem of a property with Maltese features throughout. The host, Pierre, was amazing throughout and was full of recommendations for day trips.
