It was right by the beach and in a nice quiet location. It was great value for money and a really cool place to stay. One of the highlights of this place was the host. He was kind and very attentive. He made every effort to make us feel comfortable and happy. He walked us down to the beach and took some fresh coconuts off the tree for us to drink, right outside our room. We had an amazing Sri-Lankan meal for dinner and it was such a lovely experience.

Offering a garden and garden view, Sulashika Beach House is set in Kandakuli, 400 metres from Kandakuliya Beach and 400 metres from Kudawa Beach. The villa is 1.9 km from Kalpitiya Beach. We stayed as a couple for 11 days in this beautiful cottage 1 minute from the beach. It is so quiet and you can relax and retreat very well. There is also a whale skeleton and several beaches are within walking distance. It is also a kitesurfing paradise and there are many donkeys here. You can easily cater for yourself, but there are also several restaurants nearby. The owners are next door and are happy to help at every opportunity. We would come back any time. :-)

We stayed here for going to willpatu wich its a amazing national park. The room was very beautiful the second floor but not ac. We changed the room for one in the first floor with ac but it wasn't that beautiful and 10 dollars extra per night. The host it was super nice i really like him. It was a 10/10. The hotel its in between of the jungle and you can see birds and squirrels. A bit difficult to find a tuk tuk or taxi just in the street but the host always help us for find one driver. The owner a good guy, we didn't meet him but we talked with him by phone and he was super helpful There's available bikes, amazing!

Dune Towers is a recently renovated guest house in Alankuda, where guests can make the most of its private beach area and garden. It is like a castle nestled between the dunes and coconut groves! Probably the best stay I have had in Sri Lanka!! Everything is super clean and the furniture, building and linens are brand new! The location is perfect to get away from it all! I practice daily yoga and meditation and it was wonderful they let me use the panoramic roof terrace to welcome the sunrise!

Set just 1.2 km from Kammala Beach, holidays hotel offers accommodation in Dummaladeniya East with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Totally exceeded our expectations! Even better than the photos and super friendly people treat you just like family. Such a clan and nicely decorated place and super comfortable beds, comforter and fluffy pillows on a soft bed. just what we needed! Also about as close as you can get to the rickshaw run start line so was a super location for us. No hot water but we didn’t even miss it.

The retreat is a perfect place. Huge rooms and bathroom, extremely clean and very well mantained. Staff are very professional and attentive to detail. The breakfast is quite big and very good. During our two nights stay we had dinner at the property and the food was delicious and at reasonable price. They let us use their bikes to explore around and arrange a scooter rental for the next day. We recommend this place to everyone.
