Nice garden, comfortable living room and big sleeping room. It’s exactly our dream house in Japan. We highly recommend you to stay there. The couple are very nice and helpful, they gave us useful recommendations. We sure we will be back!

Set in Shirahama, within 200 metres of Shirahama Beach and 1.2 km of Ezura Beach, Shirahama no Yado Daigo offers free WiFi throughout the property. The hostess (who's also the owner) was a very nice and friendly person. Breakfast was complimentary and the hostess even made breakfast by herself to guests every morning and it was delicious! The room is equipped with tatami floor and was super clean. There was no bed but instead futon was provided and you need to set it up by yourself at night which was interesting. It was a special experience to get a chance to sleep in a Japanese futon. If you don't know how to set it up they will help you too. The bathroom is big and equipments were new. The hotel is within 5 minutes walk to the beach. It's also close to a bus stop which takes you to surrounding sightseeing places. There are convenient store and supermarket within walking distance and you can buy fireworks there to play at the beach at night. If we come back to Shirahama in the future we will choose to stay here again.

The host was really polite and went out of his way to help with any situation. We reached late on a cold night and he was there at the bus stop to see us and help take the luggage in. The breakfast was beyond terrific. The room was clean as was the shower and bathroom. The hosts were very helpful setting up taxis, recommending a restaurant, and arranging attendance in a yoga session at the Buddish temple Nextdoor. Is someone doesn't require their own private toilet or shower, I would recommend this B&B. By the way, the food was very healthy.
