The owners were very nice and the room was perfect-bed comfortable and bathroom was updated. Breakfast was very good-the porridge was so tasty. Easy to access right off the main road and plenty of parking. We would definitely recommend to anyone who is planning a stay in Kilkee!!! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Sycamore Lodge in Kilkee provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. John was the most welcoming host from the moment we arrived. He went above board to give us the warmest welcome by making tea and serving up the most delicious home baked goods that he had freshly prepared himself. My partner is gluten and lactose intolerant and he made baked goods to facilitate this. The breakfast in the morning too was so beautifully presented and such a wide range of continental offerings along with the most delicious offering of hot food. Once again John went to great efforts to ensure my partners dietary requirements were catered for. The BnB is a beautiful house….just out the road from vibrant Kilkee. All the rooms are very tastefully decorated and you feel relaxed and at home as soon as you walk in the door with the beautiful decor, relaxing music and aromatherapy. The bed was so comfortable and we both had a very peaceful night sleep. John had recommended local bars and restaurants to eat in and also recommended a beautiful walk along the coast that was truly spectacular- especially being the beautiful balmy evening we had when we were there. There is a lovely garden around the house….was so glad i had packed my yoga mat….found a lovely corner to do some evening stretches. Plenty of on-site parking. Very handy for getting the ferry the next day. We actually regretted our stay was so short as we really felt at ease and comfortable at Sycamore lodge. It has been the best place we have ever stayed in Ireland in terms of comfort, value for money, location, delicious food and home baked welcome treats (meringue to die for!) but most importantly the hospitality John showed was 5 star. Thanks so much to John for a lovely stay! Without a doubt we will be back!

It was walking distance to restaurant and pubs. The beds were comfortable. Susanne was very helpful and gave us helpful tips. We would definitely recommend this place to anybody.

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, Colmán House is set in Kilmihil, 39 km from Dromoland Golf Course and 39 km from Dromoland Castle. I was met at the door by Pat when I arrived and the reception was very friendly and warm. Outside of the house is amazing and it is very inviting. Pat was extremely attentive and friendly. The room was so nice and warm and with a lovely tv room and fire right beside my room. I would highly recommend this for anyone visiting the area Regards

We absolutely loved everything about our stay in Quilty! From the welcoming initial directions of Patrick to the genuine chats with warm-hearted Geraldine during our stay. There’s just so many facilities on-site, including a swimming pool, a playground and even donkeys to take the kiddies to visit! Spanish Point Beach is within sight and Doolin, Milltown Malbay and Lahinch are short spins away! This property has everything you could ask for, including a garden, cable tv, dishwasher, cooking facilities, very comfortable beds and gorgeous showers! Honestly, I could go on...but if you have children, you will absolutely adore your stay here, and if not...you’ll still love it!
