This makes it much calmer and less noisy - The weekend /weekday markets are across the street. You got a bit of an additional authenticity through those (plus you can easily buy delicious fruits) - The owner was extremely helpful with answering all of our questions about the place, the neighborhood and the town - We were also allowed to check out in the afternoon which was a huge help for us (by not having to spend hours in the summer heat while waiting for our shuttle)

The owner and employees are super friendly and extremely helpful and welcoming. The beds are comfortable, and the hostel offers everything one could need, including kayaks for rental, free drinking water, and the infrastructure to wash and dry clothes. Overall, a real gem of a hostel!

The house was very spacious with a full kitchen for use. Would recommend stocking up on groceries prior to reaching the home. The view was stellar and the house was on a tranquil and serene portion of the lake.
