Was such a wholesome experience meeting this family. Their way of life and being apart of it. Very real. They live off the land and sea predominantly. Went fishing and got to eat the fish we caught. The beach is right at your doorstep with crystal clear waters! So relaxing! This is their village, their island. So appreciative of them having us. There's only one little supermarket on the other side of the island. About 20mins. Such a beautiful walk over there. Bring sunscreen and insect repellent. Theres not too many mozzys but just in case. My partner and I are so glad we didnt go to a fancy resort. If you're not open-minded and adventurous, maybe go somewhere else. Thank you Lice and Jo for having us. We will be back. :):):):):)

Wai Makare Homestay erbjuder en egen strand, och det finns även en trädgård. beautiful coral reef just outside to explore around, staff were very friendly and helpfull and the activitys were fun. food was good with lots of fresh fruit and fish.

Malakati Village Beach House ligger i Nacula Island och erbjuder boende med utsikt över bergen samt en egen strand. I alla boendeenheter finns en terrass med havsutsikt. Super special Fiji experience to be staying in a village. Every meal we had with a different family was a great way to taste different food and meet another family.We did our own snorkeling during the days or local activities . We learnt about many aspects of their lives. The children went to school everyday on a boat in front of our hut. We said that if we could be 10 % Fijian after this experience we would be. This is because they shine as kind hearted, generous natured people...Thanks so much to this being available.
