Cabinas Cahuita er gististaður með sameiginlegri setustofu í Cahuita, 300 metra frá Blanca, 1,1 km frá Negra og 21 km frá Jaguar Rescue Center. The location was perfect for visiting the Cahuita National Park - and also close to other amenities like grocery stores and restaurants. Everything was within 5 mins walking. The host was amazing - she provided a lot of local information including best sites and shops. She even knew the 'usual spots' where sloths would hang out. Thanks to her advice we saw sloths and even kinkajous in the evening. Rooms are cozy and have everything you need: AC and hot water.

This place feels like "home away from home". Chiara and Ray are lovely hosts: we really enjoyed chatting with them and they were always very helpful. We rented the local bikes for the day and it was such a nice activity to explore the area. This was our favorite stay in Costa Rica and would recommend it to anyone passing by Puerto Viejo. It's located a bit further out from the center, next to Playa Negra, which for us was a plus. You can enjoy the quiet and beautiful nature there. It's totally safe and not so crowded like the center. The guesthouse is clean, very nicely furnished and looked after. Grazie Chiara and Ray for such a beautiful experience! We will always cherish it in our hearts xx

Cahuita Apartment by Angie er staðsett í Cahuita, 500 metra frá Blanca og í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Negra. Gististaðurinn býður upp á útsýni yfir kyrrláta götu. I loved my stay!! Angie and her daughter Anielka were extremely responsive and attentive! Checking in periodically to see if there was anything I needed. Made me feel very welcomed and at home. The space was large, with a full stock kitchen. The couch in the living room was also very comfortable. During the day, the house could get hot but using the air conditioner in the bedroom it wasn't an issue at all. I really enjoyed how quiet the area was, while conveniently walking distance to the main street of town. So great location!

Apartamentos Caimán Tortuguero er staðsett í Tortuguero. Ísskápur og ketill eru einnig til staðar. Þjóðgarðurinn er aðeins 100 metra frá sveitagistingunni. It was so nice to live in a small neighborhood instead of a tourist resort! Carlos, the host, was a wonderful help with any arrangements we needed. The apartment was spotless. We are going back to stay there again!

Ocean's Breeze Apartment and Rooms er staðsett í Puerto Viejo, 2,8 km frá Negra-ströndinni og 2 km frá Jaguar Rescue Center. Boðið er upp á garð og loftkælingu. This place is a hidden gem in Puerto Viejo with the most wonderful host. The place does not have laundry service, but when I asked for it, the owner organized it anyway so I could have clean clothes - I really appreciated that! He always offered me (and the other guest at the time) a free ride towards town whenever we were heading the same way. The view is wonderful, and the breeze is so nice. Very tranquil, the only noises I heard was from wildlife and occasionally the neighbour dogs :)

Alloro Jungle Villas er staðsett í Puerto Viejo, 3 km frá Chiquita-ströndinni og 2,4 km frá Jaguar Rescue Center. Boðið er upp á garð og garðútsýni. Beautiful villa surrounded by jungle and the sound of birds, monkeys and other fauna. Saw hummingbirds and other birds daily through my room window or on the terrace while having breakfast. The pool area was nice very nice. We had a car and the beach, town and supermarket was just a few minutes drive. The owner, Yuri, was kind and very helpful with anything, available 24/7 and made delicious piña colada!

Casa Modi er staðsett í 50 metra fjarlægð frá Cocles-ströndinni og býður upp á loftkæld gistirými með svölum. We got the unit on the second floor. It had 2 bedrooms. Super comfy 200cm width bed. Fully equipped kitchen though the kitchen is outdoors, might not fit everyone. For us it was great. Barely any mosquitoes even outdoors. Nice place to buy fruits 5 minutes walk and a big organic supermarket less than 10 minutes walk. The beach is very close to the flat, big waves but we built sand castles with our baby so it was fine. It was very relaxing stay in a peaceful environment. They even have a laundry machine and were very responsive to all our requests. Felt very secluded. 10 minutes walk from the Jaguar Rescue Center.
