A well equipped gorgeous cabin surrounded by a beautiful garden with a pool and laundry. Xavi was very helpful and showed our children the local monkeys. We can not say enough good things about this place. The owner, Kristian, is very pleasant. Very courteous. Natalia is amazing. This was the most accommodating place that we've ever stayed. When my partner and I first arrived, we felt a little apprehensive about the location. It seemed a little quieter than we were expecting. But it ended up being so perfect. We have absolutely no regrets. Natalia found us so many great activities. It was a much better experience than being in a super touristy location. The pool is also great. If you're a dog lover, the owner has an amazing dog that will love you as much as you love him! If not, that's ok too. He doesn't get in your way. There's food walking distance from the hotel. You will be walking about 10-15 minutes on a hot dirt road. They're might be some bike rentals/car rentals in town. If you prefer to stay in, Natalia will make breakfast and dinner, which is a great option.

Casa Papito is situated in Playa Potrero, Guanacaste and each suite offers a private terrace and a kitchen. It provides free WiFi and a garden with swimming pool. Gorgeous, huge room and outdoor deck. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful pool. Excellent sound system and lighting. Our own kitchen. Hosts have thought if everything including a cooler and chairs for the beach!

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi, Horizon Lodge Potrero provides accommodation in Potrero. All units feature a satellite flat-screen TV, a private bathroom and a fully equipped... View was amazing! Infinity pool, small but lovely. Very attentive hosts. Car needed as not walkable to restaurants.

Located in Ocotal, Guesthouse Casa Avi Fauna offers an outdoor pool and outdoor kitchen. This homestay accommodation has air conditioning, a private bathroom with hot water, and free Wi-Fi. The guesthouse is run by the owners without staff. Both are multi-lingual, very friendly and are very knowledgeable about the area. We enjoyed our conversations with them. Both the site and the room were clean and pleasing to the eye. The rooms are also individually air conditioned. An out-door kitchen is maintained where guests take care of their own breakfasts and other meals. The pool (not chlorinated) is clean and deep. The site is relatively remote and very quiet, thus of course, we had a variety of bird life come and visit. The road to the guesthouse is surfaced but narrow and with steep grades typically found in the area. The site is close to Ocotal Beach and several other beaches.

I really enjoyed the quiet location and the nice walk to a very private beach. The pool was fantastic, but above all, what was incredible for me was that I was able to bring my dogs. They were free to roam on the property and on the quiet road outside. That was the cherry on top for me:)
