Patagonia Apart Hotel - Suite ligt op 4 minuten lopen van Playa Colon, en biedt accommodatie met gratis fietsen, een terras en een 24-uursreceptie. Goed ontbijt, ruime kamers, personeel echt relaxed. Locatie was heel makkelijk voor trips buiten Punta Arenas, loopafstand van restaurants en centrale plein. Geen parkeerprobleem gehad.

Good location about 1.5 mile from downtown, cozy comfortable cabins, and a nice outdoor wood-fired tub (at extra cost) for a warm, nighttime bath watching the stars, drinking some wine and having a cold platter. The hosts are very friendly and made us feel at home.

Hostal La Minga ligt in Chaitén en biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin, een terras en een restaurant. Er is een volledig uitgeruste eigen badkamer met douche en badjassen. We stayed in the cabin rather than the main house and loved it. Beds are super comfortable, shower has lots of hot water and good pressure and everything runs off solar there so although portable phone chargers were de rigeur and wifi didn't always work in our room, it was always perfect in the main house. The kerosene heater heated up the place in no time and it stayed toasty warm. Lots of blankets, too, if you prefer that. Klaus and Marcela are wonderful hosts and we enjoyed a couple of excellent home cooked dinners with them as both are excellent cooks. Breakfasts are equally delicious as bread and spreads are homemade and their coffee is some of the best we've had in Chile. Really, our hosts are what made it truly special to stay there. They are delightful, friendly people and they went out of their way to help us with some issues we had with our car rental. Klaus speaks excellent English in case your Spanish is as shaky as mine. The hostel is located a couple of km outside town, but it has a lovely stony beach just a 3 minute walk away for relaxing and watching the sunset and looking for seals and dolphins. Very peaceful. Due to issues with the satellite reception, we had to pay in cash, and we had no luck with the only ATM in town, so prepare accordingly.

Hostal Chucaita Puerto Cisnes is gelegen op 9 minuten lopen van Playa de Puerto Cisnes en biedt accommodaties met een patio. Spacious, very clean, good furniture, excellent kitchen. Friendly and helpful host. This is essentially a 3 bedroom apartment, with individual rooms rented out. We were alone so had a lot of space to ourselves, probably would feel a bit crowded with other people around, as the private rooms are rather small.

Refugio Huerta Los Maquis bevindt zich in Puerto Guadal in de regio Aysén, en heeft een tuin. Deze accommodatie aan het strand heeft een balkon, gratis privéparkeren en gratis WiFi. Prachtige locatie, fijn huis, aardige mensen. En het uitzicht is zo fantastisch. Je kunt hier dagen zitten en alleen maar naar de natuur kijken, los van alles. Echt een aanrader!
