The pool, The lake and the hospitality by Peter and his spouse were excellent. The location is great and the kids also loved it. When it rained we went to museum in Lucerne and even with covid we had a great time.

Hostel Rotschuo Jugend & Familienherberge is located on the shores of Lake Lucerne just 300 metres from the next bus stop. Awesome. Right on the lake. Couldn’t have asked for a better location. I was a bit paranoid about the shared bathroom (my hostel days are behind me) but the communal areas were very clean and there are many of them so I never had to wait for a shower/ toilet. We had a quadruple room and it came with a basin (very handy). Ten out of ten.
