One of the highlights of my trip to Vietnam. Beautiful scenery and a great relaxed vibe on the river with free paddleboards and boats. The host Vin was so friendly. I turned up at Cat Ba and sent a whatsapp and a boat came and picked me up from the island. On the second night we went to their hostel on the island and had a few drinks and some food, and everyone there was just as friendly. Really, anything you need and they're so happy to help. Would highly recommend!

It was a great stay at quiet place nearby the lake. Very friendly and welcoming hosts ready to help with local trip advice, bike, tours and bus to next destination. They even served two breakfasts for me every day, as I usually eat a lot. Room is clean, view is beautiful, food is tasty. Close to the city

Wow!!!! This place was perfect!! Great location, super clean, i mean so clean you could literally eat off the floor!! Beautiful smoking lounge on the rooftop. Great location with a short walk to the center. We had breakfast every morning prepared by the owners wife that was absolutely delicious and the highlight was when the owner Mr Throng would come up to your table each morning with his own home brewed fruity Rice wine and pour you a shot with him and say “This is how we say good morning in vietnam” and believe me it was good, so good i asked him for a second round ;) Mr throng was very helpful with booking us an excursion the first day and renting his bike, he even pulled out a map of the island explaining to us in detail what route to take to get to the near by attractions and how long it would take and timed it perfectly so that we would reach the Jetty on the otherside of the island on time for a beautiful sunset. he even advised us about the money exchange rates in Cat ba advising us to try our best to pay by card or local currency and to save our dollars to exchange them in a bigger city so that the we would get a higher rate. his genuine character and warm personality made our stay in Cat ba a memorable one for sure! Would definitely without a doubt recommend Cat ba central homestay to anyone that is planing to visit and would definitely stay here if we ever return to cat bar in the future!!!!

It was our best stay in Vietnam! I have no words to describe how incredible the host is. She is a lovely and intelligent woman who cooks like in a Michelin-star restaurant, making the whole experience better than 5-star hotels. She made us feel at home, providing an authentic and very comfortable stay. The bathroom, especially the shower, was extremely well-built, and the bed was super comfortable. The beautiful and romantic terrace, along with the huge kitchen where we took a cooking class, added to the experience where we learned and laughed a lot. We truly miss the An Homestay host and her wonderful son, they speak very good English! It was really sad to leave them. If someone asks where to go to experience everything again, we would say An Homestay! ❤️We highly recommend taking the boat tour!!

Понравилось всё: удобное расположение недалеко от пляжа в 2 минутах на мотоцикле, при этом тихий район. На завтрак был вкусный суп с лапшой. В номере две огромные кровати. Очень чисто. Холодильник в номере.
