A small beautiful Hotel with a very private atmosphere, nice breakfast, 3 minutes away from the beach and Sophia that took care of us as we were the only guests in the house! She was amazingly kind, extra attentive and very professional, a really five stars service that turned our stay to an extraordinary experience.

He made me feel like he honestly cares about my happiness! Mustafa is super friendly, trustworthy and he always tries to help, with small things like getting a taxi for a normal price (not tourist price), or more important ones, like excursions. He helped us to book a Safari trip in Tanzania for a great price, and the experience was amazing in every aspect of it. I just paid and Mustafa took care of the rest, which was perfect for my “vacation mindset”. Many many thanks, Mustafa! Badae!

This was a wonderful find, and a great value. It was nice to stay in a quiet home away from the noise and commotion of the resorts on the beach. The view from my balcony was great, and sunsets over the sea were beautiful. The second floor apartment catches the breeze and stays cool (the air conditioning was rarely needed). The hosts are very accommodating and friendly. They are fluent in Italian, and also speak English. Maid service came every day, which is unusual for an apartment. It was nice to have a kitchen (shared with another room) to prepare the local fruits sold in the village. The beach (which is the nicest, or one of the nicest, in Zanzibar) is a 5-10 minute walk from the apartment, and local restaurants are only a few minutes walk from the apartment. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Zanzibar.

This is a family run business at the south of Kendwa beach. Becca and his sisters have set up a wonderful facility. They are very close of the village so I enjoyed both the local and "tourist" perspectives.

Our room was very close to the Pavillion Restaurant and to the beach. The staff was gracious, friendly, courteous, professional, efficient and pleasant. We were treated like royalty. We ate every meal there except one when we had lunch in Stonetown. The food was excellent as was the service. The manager, Said, was always available to answer questions or provide insight into things we hadn't even voiced yet. We loved the vibe of the property. Hopefully, it will stay the same, no changes are required.

The pineapple house was my home far away from home for over a month. The owner is such a nice person who was always ready to help. I felt very comfortable and left with a heavy heart at the end. The breakfast was great, fresh fruit every day, freshly squeezed juice and I even got some special gluten-free breakfast - and that's not so easy on the island. I can warmly recommend the pineapple house as the staff is super friendly, the rooms are nice and it’s close to the beach.
