Hosts are very friendly & helpfull. Very calm and peacefull environment with beautiful garden. Midigama surfing beach area is like 5 minutes away Very Clean and large modern room with attached bathroom Remote working was possible as there was a working desk available and the internet connection was fast ( high speed fibre) There was a washing machine free to use, and racks to dry cloths. Outdoor shower was a plus. Wide area roof top was a grate location to do my daily yoga, without any interpretations.

The kindest most accommodating family! This room has everything you need and the kitchen and balcony are great to have. Hiumi and her mother made me food on special days and always kept me in the loop generally.

The family were so incredibly lovely! a little bit of a walk into Midigama but completely worth it. the rooms where always clean and the space is so lovely. The breakfast were also amazing, really went over and above every time.

Vogel Nest was great value for money, and tucked away down a quiet street off Midigama junction, but still very central! A few minutes walk from Cafe Pleasure (cheap and good food), the train station and the beach. Friendly staff, got a cheaper scooter through them, and an all round comfortable ACd rooms 👌🏻

The place is big enough for having privacy and also for socializing and sharing. The kitchen is nice and well equipped, there is also good space to work

Quiet and calm place - "That's the place I would write a book or so..."; but just a 3min walk to the beach or some restaurants. Very friendly hosts :)

Stop looking, you found your hidden gem! + I loved my spacious clean modern room, opening into a beautiful wide garden and relax in my private front porch. + Design touch: concrete floor and wooden furniture +Big and clean bathroom (no hot shower, yet no need) +Wifi was very strong and reliable +Private front porch in the shade with fan facing the garden to relax and daydream +Manjula and his family are incredible warm loving hosts! +Morning breakfast and coffee was excellent +Plenty of privacy while living with a host family +10mns walk to the best surf spot (lazy right and left), 3 mns walk to roadside restaurants (crossing thru the railway) +They will rent their scooter for you

We initially planned to stay at Ocean’s Edge Villa for three nights and end up spending 20 fantastic days instead. Everything about this place is exceptional. Mahindra and family were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel really at home. The apartment and location was perfect for our days relaxing, surfing and doing yoga in Midigama. The home-cooked food was delicious and made with love and care. Really hope a lot of people can experience the same as us and wish the best to the family!
