The place is amazing, but what gives the edge is the owner, Mr Chaamin's incredible attention to your every need. He offers complimentary laundry service, water, coffee, tea any time, and access to bicycles and snorkling equipment as well as fresh beach towels daily. The room and bathroom are spacious and clean, the wifi is good and the fridge in the room is a great bonus. They provide enough towels, toilet paper and extra sheets to sleep under- (which I found was rare in Sri Lanka!) There is also a neat private area outside with loungers to chill. The breakfast served is fit for royalty and so much food that it covered almost my entire day's meals! Thank you for making the stay so special.

Everything was perfect about the stay. The pool was really beautiful and well conceived. It’s so quiet and calm. The hotel manager made sure we were comfortable on every level. The 5$ breakfast served to our room was really appreciated.

This was truly a hidden gem in Matara. The place is super clean and nice, the kind hosts were very helpful and supportive. This place had fully equipped kitchen (Microwave, Hot Plate, Electric Kettle, Juice Maker, Refrigerator and all the kitchen equipment you could ever want), There were two rooms which was super clean. Also this place had an Electric iron and there were Washing machine (we didn't use the washing machine) although the place is bit far from town, It is in close proximity to Polhena beach, which is a very beautiful beach. My first impression and stay at the place is not 10 out of 10, but 100 out of 10 ❤️. Highly recommend place and will definitely visit again.

Wonderful family hosts so helpful and friendly. Location was away from the busy streets with views over gardens not other buildings. There are only two rooms here, upstairs is spacious with lounge area, kitchen and balcony. Downstairs is smaller and has a patio with small kitchen and breakfast bar, both rooms with fans which is adequate. Dinner and breakfast were both high quality local food.

the family is the sweetest and made me feel immediately at home in sri lanka. price-quality is really good and every morning there is a big delicious local breakfast included. the bed is really comfortable and you have everything you need in the room, also a little kitchen. sheets and towels are clean. the little house is located really close to the beach! thank you so much for the lovely stay!

Stayed at Orange House for 2 weeks and had a great experience! The family who runs this guesthouse is incredibly friendly and very helpful. They cooked an amazing dinner for myself and 3 other guests! The location is very close to the main surfbreaks on weligama beach and shops, restaurants, atms. Would definitely stay here again!
