Right on the beautiful beach, very big spacious room with good air-con, outside seating with amazing beach view, sunbeds on the beach, and as a bonus nice owner and his family, who can advise and help to arrange additional trips or services. Hikkaduwa beach and Turtle beach, both with quiet sea without high waves good for snorkling, only few minutes with tuk-tuk.

Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, seine Villa ist von großen Bäume, wie auch Obstbäumen umgeben. Man kann dort Tiere sehen und auch ggf freundlichen schwarze Langhaaraffen. Alles ist sauber und das Preisleitungsverhältnis ist super. Ich denke, das dieses Hostel zu den Besten in Sri Lanka zählt!

Das Personal war super nett und die Zimmer waren sauber. Die Dusche war kalt,aber bei den Temperaturen kein Problem. Und der Blick vom Balkon war super. Hab mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Gerne wieder.

Pretty much everything. They will ask you every day if you need room cleaning. The place has literally everything you might need during your stay and it is located in the peaceful area. The staff is so nice and they really do their best to make sure that everyone feels as comfortable as possible. The breakfast is amazing, it is not a buffet but you can ask for more of what you like that day and they will give you without additional charge. They provide you with beach towels which is a great thing too. WiFi was great and there is plenty of hot water. You can relax on the sun beds, use the pool or swim right in front of the hotel. Within 10-15 min walking distance on the beach, you reach a bunch of great restaurants you can enjoy. You can pay by card or in multiple currencies. Nothing is problem and it is really easy to communicate anything you need. One day we bought a pineapple and as soon as they noticed, they offered to cut it for us since we had no knife. If I come back to Hikkaduwa, I will definitely book this place again. 10/10

Susanna and Tusharo (please excuse me if I’m misspelling the names :) were wonderful hosts. Welcoming and informative. It really felt like our own house. Spotless clean, equipped with everything a traveler needs, beautiful nature around, a garden well kept. Another great thing is the hosts really care about animals and Tusharo shared fascinating information about the connection local people share with the sea turtles (we got lucky and swam with them). The beach has some great surf. Would love to come back and stay more.

Sailors Bay it’s our little gem we found in Hikkaduwa….. this was our sixth time that we’ve been in Hikkaduwa… not only the location is perfect cause it’s quiet close to everything and yet far away when it comes to nightlife noises, a big plus is that this is the only part aside from Turtle Beach where you could really swim and not be worried about any waves, but what really made our stay so special was the whole family who run the Guest House ….Santosh and Dylan are the best hosts and most friendly and helpful human beings you can imagine and with them There is their aunt their mum, their dad all so welcoming and yet always respecting your space but never shy to go an extra mile and offer you all help or assistance you need …. by the way, when you are there, they organise a Ayurvedic massage which is outstanding and worse every penny and can’t be compared to the rip of massage parlours in the rest of the village I could go on forever….. but one thing is sure we certainly will be back and I’m looking already forward for our next stay in Sailors Bay….

Locacion is great just 2 min walking distance from the bus and train station. The place is clean, airy and comfortable, thank you Roshan for having us, we liked our stay very much! higly recommend

Everything was perfectly fine! The location, the spacious room, the towels, the bed, the blanket, the VIEW over the sea. The friendly staff, Isha and other lovely ladies were so nice. Also, you will get two big bottled water. Anyway it was the best hotel in Sri Lanka for me. Moreover, I wanted late check out and they were ok with it. I cannot stop mentioning good things about the this hotel
