Gustavo's place was great! Exactly as described in the listing. Gustavo was very kind and accommodating. The property was clean and comfortable. They even offered to clean the space and change the towels, which was a nice touch. We greatly appreciated the laundry on site too. Gustavo's place was about a 10-minute walk into "downtown," which has many grocery stores, restaurants, some bars, and the bus station to Manuel Antonio, San Jose, or other surrounding areas.

The photos do not do this place any justice. It is exceptionally beautiful and located inside the jungle which provides a wonderful experience. Spotted lots of animals within the property premises, including chipmunks, monkeys, a Jesus lizard, and even a frog. Considering the location insects were surprisingly not an issue. The host also provided us with coffee for the entire duration of the stay as well as gave us a pineapple and 2 mangoes upon our arrival.

En fredelig liten gård, som man kan se at det legges mye krefter i å vedlikeholde av eieren. Vi følte oss veldig velkomne av vertskapet, og våre barn trivdes veldig godt med de snille hundene og de vakre hestene. Bassenget er topp og frokosten er fantastisk. Bungalowen er enkel standard, og man må regne med å få besøk av diverse insekter, men det var ikke til bry. Kjøkkenet har det utstyret man trenger for å lage et par middager. Vinduene har netting, og er perfekte å ha åpne på natten for å få god temperatur på rommet om natten. Trengte ikke AC. Fantastisk utsikt fra terrassen. Veldig fin tur på egen sti for bading til nærmeste elv. Ridetur anbefales!

Pura Vida is amazing. Mi casa es tu casa❤️ Jorge is a very friendly host who loves to see when guests feel comfortable. Every morning there was coffee and fresh fruit in the kitchen with a nice smile on his face! Our room was next to the kitchen and the kitchen was our favorite place. It was very clean and open and we liked to cook there together with other guests from all over the world. As the place is quiet remote our host helped us to rent a scooter - turned out to be a perfect way of transportation! Jorge even offered us a lift when we took an early bus. Thanks again for a wonderful time and we hope to return one day!:

Very beautiful, clean, comfortable apartment. Host provided great information and great basics: many towels, all the kitchen basics eg salt, detergent etc. Very comfortable bed and secure parking.

Stephen the owner made us feel so welcome and at home, always made sure if we needed anything he was there to help. Breakfast had a great selection of fresh and cooked food. He’s created a great space where you can mingle with other guests in communal areas if you like which made it a lot of fun. Room was big and comfortable and very clean. Great location with private parking and wifi.
