we stayed at 10+ accommodations during our trip around Balkans with Balani guest house was our absolute favourite. the owner was the most hospitable guy we ever met, and even if he doesn’t speak so much English, he made our day! the location is also amazing, as it’s situated directly on the lake shore, overviewing the amazing landscape. in summer, the lake water is really warm (29 C), and you can relax in the water for a long time.

Wonderful location. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s so beautiful! The room was clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. The food was great and reasonably priced. The staff was amazing.

Everything thing, The host are very kind and generous, they treat us like family, breakfast was super delicious and fresh, the view was great too exactly over the lake, also the price was reasonable. I really recommend it for anyone wants to visit Shkodre and enjoy the real atmosphere and lovely people. Don’t forget to visit their family restaurant just 150m away from the BB has delicious traditional food.

We had a wonderful time in Casa de la Playa! The property is in a quiet corner, but still not far from the beach and all the restaurants, and - bonus - there is a supermarket just at the corner as well as parking just before the house. The host was exceptionally kind and attentive, and gave us plenty of tips from the nearest ATM to the best restaurant. We would really recommend this place for your stay (but bring your own towels as this is an apartment and not a hotel!)

Great host, really friendly and helpful. Ask him anything you wanna know about Albania! Apartment was very nice, had pretty much everything you'd want. Super comfy sofa! Good location, hard to know where it is from the outside but just communicate with the host and he'll help. We didn't have phone data so it was a bit hard but some nice guy on the street helped us out.
