We were met by the friendly owner who let us in on our arrival. The room was gorgeous, well equipped and perfect for our needs. Great central location, clean and all we needed was provided.

Casas do Navalhão er staðsett í São Roque do Pico og býður upp á gistirými, garð, grillaðstöðu og útsýni yfir kyrrláta götu. Gististaðurinn er með fjalla- og garðútsýni. Fantastic place, equipped with absolutely everything. Clean and cosy with a fully equipped kitchen and a large bathroom available. Easy to get here even with the local bus and there's parking available as well. Excellent place for starting a hike. I definitely recommend to stay here.

Vinhas do Calhau er staðsett í Madalena á Pico-eyju og er með svalir. Gististaðurinn er með sjávarútsýni og verönd. The staff is wonderful. First, they helped us book a rental car after our plans fell through even though we were unable to find any available cars on the island. Also, our luggage was left behind by the airline and then delivered to the hotel after we had already left. Ana works reception at the hotel and called me to let me know so I could work with the airline to get it picked up and sent to our current island. Then Ana also called us when the bags were picked up. This was imperative because the airline made no attempt to let us know they had our bags. Ana told me the flight time from Pico to the island we were on and so we stopped by the airport and found our bags. They were separated away from the bags being delivered that day and had not been entered into the system. It took 5 days to get our bags and it would have been longer if not for Ana. We are so grateful for everyone there. Also the room was spacious with a great view.

Barrocas do Mar er staðsett í Prainha de Baixo á Pico-eyjunni og býður upp á gistirými með aðgangi að heitum potti. Gistirýmið er með garðútsýni og verönd. We booked the apartment on the second floor and spent a total of 5 days here. The accommodation is exceptionally beautiful and has several huge windows with sea view from all rooms, even from the bed. The accommodation was very clean and super well equipped, there is really nothing missing here (two bathrooms with towels and beach towels, hairdryer, huge shower, kitchen with usual dishes, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, stove, microwave, large refrigerator, washing machine and dryer, drying racks, ...). To the front facing the sea, there is a balcony where several people can easily sit and eat. To the rear facing the mountain, there is a large terrace with comfy seating and a barbecue. Another highlight was the jacuzzi, where you could relax wonderfully after the hikes and enjoy a magnificent view. Paulo, the owner, was always available and responded very quickly and friendly to all questions. The self-check-in was super uncomplicated. Prainha is a nice little coastal village; there are a few restaurants here and several small grocery stores. Overall, it is recommended for people looking for a quiet and peaceful place to relax. A rental car is highly recommended for the entire island, otherwise we would certainly not have discovered many beautiful corners. We enjoyed our time here very much and would come back anytime. Very good value for money!

Insula Atlantis Apartments býður upp á gistirými í Madalena. Þessi íbúð er með sundlaug með útsýni, garð og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Lovely little apartment. Great location and amazing views. Pool was nice to have and beautiful to watch the sunset over the ocean.

Alma do Pico - Nature Residence er með útisundlaug með töfrandi útsýni yfir Faial-eyju og umhverfið í kring. Einingin er á Pico-eyju og er með útsýni yfir hið fræga Pico-fjall. Very friendly staff and the venue was awesome and very "nature" oriented!
