It seems to be almost brand new with lovely furnishings and had everything we needed. Wished we could have stayed longer! I had a little trouble finding the complex—my fault…we were very tired and new to the area—and I hadn’t had a chance to read all the detailed emails explaining the check-in process. We called the owner (at 9pm!) he walked me through the steps until I was safely in the unit. I thought that was extremely kind of him and we were very appreciative of his patience and help. All in all, it couldn’t have been better!

Outdoor dining is also possible at the apartment. This was a great little spot, only 15 mins drive from Hobbiton and a lovely quiet country area. Julie we didn't meet you, but thanks for the lovely touches, a couple of beers and ciders, and the home made bread and condiments were just beautiful! The unit was so spacious, great shower, comfortable bed, and that cow pic on the wall was perfect! Love this place! Great country pub, the hot springs hotel, is 6km away and was also a winner, highly recommended.
