This hotel offered not just accommodation but a truly exceptional and caring experience.

Casa Loko is a great location on the West side of the Nile, very close (10 minutes walk) to the boats crossing the river to the city center (Luxor museum and Luxor Temple) and also quite close (15 minutes drive) to the historical sites of the West bank. Peaceful environment (far from the noise of the city center). Small building with 4 large cosy apartments and a swimming pool in a nice small garden. Mohamed, with his brother and his son, are so kind and made our stay one of the best ones we have ever had, helping us preparing our visits, cooking us food when needed and always caring about us and the kids.

It's about 15 minutes outside the city, but the compound is situated right beside a nice market ( AL Rayah Market) and it has everything you would need to fix up a quick meal if need be. Our host was able to set us up on a hot air balloon ride and it was one of the most amazing experiences for our family here in Egypt. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I was able to work remotely and the Lily room is absolutely beautiful for long term stays. The garden is stunning, and the roof is perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset. The water pressure is great, and the wifi is fast enough for digital nomads. The hosts are very welcoming and will help you with anything you need. The location is ideal, on the quiet side, but easy access to everything. I fell in love with this hotel! They also helped us arrange several tours, including with the Egyptologist Valentino, which we enjoyed very much.
