The hotel has a pleasant chaikhana next door, with tapchans. It was a popular place. But what makes the place stand out is the helpfulness of the staff, especially the ladies on reception. They went out of their way to check on bus routes, prices and times and were always ready to help. Excellent value for money.

I took a lovely walk around town with their son so he could practice his English, and I enjoyed myself quite a bit. They're so helpful; they called the bus station for me to check the schedule to Tashkent, and then told me which bus station I needed to get a shared taxi there when the bus wasn't running. Breakfast is really nice, and the room is huge! The shared bathroom was always very clean. Also, having AC is amazing when it's quite hot out. Coffee and tea available all day, and purified water as well. The location is really great. You can walk everywhere. I saw a cat, too, but couldn't pet it. T__T I'd love to go back one day. (the owner's son also walked me to a good place to exchange money when all of the banks were closed.)
