This place is a gem. Truly a wonderful place to stay in an area with few options for hotels. We spent one night prior to taking the ferry to Koh Chang. Rooms are spacious and clean. Owners really go out of their way to make you comfortable as ensure all your needs are met. They arranged food for us upon arrival. And breakfast the next morning was wonderful. Also arranged taxi service do the ferry terminal. The service is really impeccable.

Boasting a private beach area, Lomtalay Resort Trat is located in Ban Bang Pit Lang. It is 2.0 km from Ao Thammachart Pier and 6.0 km from Ao Sapparot Pier. Friendly staff, they invited me to their celebration of Loy Kathrong where I was offered lovely food. Perfect 't location on seashore with trees and lovely breeze. I came in the evening and stayed only one night, to take the ferry next day.

I needed to extend my visa at immigration and she made sure I was registered properly at her Hotel, and arranged transportation to and from the immigration office. Hotel is all brand new, facilities in perfect condition, outstanding quality for money paid. Arranged transportation to pier for ferry to Koh Mak. Highly recommended. Shops close by as well.

The property was luscious, rich, artistic and homely. There was a lot of space to sit outside and a high attention to detail to the architecture and use of space. The owners were so kind and helpful. They were wonderful hosts that made our stay stress free and effortless. But be aware it is a small place. It is a private and domestic place. It is not a hotel, but rather a home in a home which we loved!

Situated just 1 Km from Koh Mak Speed Boat Pier, Ban Sulada Guest House features rooms with sea views. Free private parking is available on site. The hotel is 5 km to Koh Chang Ferry Center Point. Su & Chuck are the most wonderful hosts we have encountered during our 12 week trip around Thailand. The sunset is incredible, the location is great.

It's dead quiet and you can hear all the birds and nature around, a few good food options within 15-20 minutes walk. Owner arranged us a pick up from Trat airport and it was a perfect stay before the morning ferry to Koh Mak. We stayed at the concrete villa because I was a bit afraid of the mosquitos in the wooden one, but I don't think it's the problem. The whole area seems to be pretty mosquito free. AC was a bit loud, but worked well and the room was clean.

Needed a wee break from it all so liked the look of palmsuay resort. It was sonkran so expected it to be busy. However it was very quiet place just what me and my son needed. Great swimming pool which I underused as had to leave during the day. Near Trat so not far to drive if you need anything. Nice resort only thing lacking was a resteraunt in site but things to eat quite near so no problem.
