Leeann is a fantastic host who is there when in need and respects your privacy to the top. This apartment has everything you need and is styled with a warm hand. The bed is large and very comfortable, the shower warm and powerful. The kitchen is more than complete. Pepper salt coffee tea sugar oil and more it’s all there. I especially liked the eating setup looking out over the bay. Outdoor you have relaxed chairs, a dining set and a hammock. What else do you need for a relaxing time? The view is spectacular and the water is just 75 meters away for a morning swim. Bikes and kayaks are available for use between the apartments. Leeann has, besides this apartment, other apartments that have a complete free view over the water. The only thing I missed was more days to stay here! Thank you Leeann! Warm regards, Frank

Featuring mountain views, Harbour Lane Apartment provides accommodation with water sports facilities and a patio, around 8.8 km from Northland Event Centre. Extra care in every aspect…milk, jam, and other food items were provided. It was very helpful to have the host provide which hikes were available after the storm and also dining suggestions.

Just 2 minutes’ drive from Whangarei Airport, Comfort Hotel Flames Whangarei features a swimming pool, tropical gardens and a restaurant. Most rooms have harbour views. Guests enjoy free WiFi. Everything about this accommodation is just perfect, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated, from the entrance, the lovely little bar, the beautiful large dining area, the outside open lounging area to the very large, very comfortable rooms. We were in an upstairs room, with a very comfortable king size bed, desk area, small table and chairs, gleaming bathroom with lovely bath and shower over plus very comfortable outside private deck with table and chairs looking out to the magnificent view. We dined in the lovely dining room, chose fish and lamb for our mains, both cooked to perfection. We can't speak highly enough of this accommodation and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Whangarei.

U Beauty - B & B, a property with a garden and a terrace, is set in Whangarei, 7 km from Northland Event Centre. The property is 8 km from Abbey Caves and complimentary private parking is offered. Staff hospitality. They were vry warm and welcoming. I felt like I was @ home . They have a beautiful breed of cats that I never saw before. Breakfast was yummy and delicious dinner waa offered at very low price.

Located in Whangarei Heads, 11 km from Northland Event Centre and 11 km from Town Basin Marina, Waikaraka Beach, spacious & very comfortable offers a garden and air conditioning. Bread, eggs and milk, tea and coffee provided for breakfast. So clean! We love that that it was absolutely spotless clean. Lots of towels, blankets, Pillows Lots of room, good layout. Fans and aircon in each room Good shower pressure Could use washing machine and dryers with free use of washing powder Use of fridge, oven, microwave and cook top Big yard and stuff for the kids play on Friendly dog Close to supermarket and takeaways but also far enough. Price was good so we didn't expected it to be as good as it was. Everything you need to feel like your at home.
