We were not sure how to access the keys at first as we had to enter the black door on the south side first. As there is an apartment in the other half of the house we though we would be entering somebodys apartment by opening the doors. But then the key was easy to find and the apartment was perfect for an overnight stay.

Set just 1 km from Hornafjördur Airport, this guest house offers guest rooms with a flat-screen TV and free WiFi access. The Route 1 Ring Road is right next to the guest house. Perfect location, a unique suite with a breathtaking view of the mountains. We loved the floors! The bathroom was very cozy and clean. Will definitely come back to spend a night or two in the area.

Our hosts were so kind and welcoming. This was a perfect spot in a beautiful location. Our room was large and private, the bathroom was everything we could have asked for.
