We were not sure how to access the keys at first as we had to enter the black door on the south side first. As there is an apartment in the other half of the house we though we would be entering somebodys apartment by opening the doors. But then the key was easy to find and the apartment was perfect for an overnight stay.

Set just 1 km from Hornafjördur Airport, this guest house offers guest rooms with a flat-screen TV and free WiFi access. The Route 1 Ring Road is right next to the guest house. everything was great. the place is new; in Scandinavian modern style. loved it. it’s situated near the town with the shops and restaurants; just 5 mins by car. the rooms are big as well as own bathrooms. we do not take breakfast (it was not included) but they said you can always use coffee machine and hot water spot.

REY Stays - Small & Cozy Studio asub Höfnis Lõuna-Islandi piirkonnas. Kohapeal on tasuta eraparkla. Kõikidel majutusruumidel on aiavaatega terrass. The apartment was cosy. Quite small but fit for what I needed. Theres no cooking area in the 2 people apartment, and it said it had kitchen, but realistically it is only fridge and a sink. The bed was upside down so I had to remake it since I didn't wanna sleep on springs digging into my back. The key box was also quite annoying because to close it i had to type in the pin code again. But other than that great view, comfortable bed. And that's really all you need.

Just 5 minutes’ drive from Höfn in south-east Iceland, this hotel is found along Route 1, close to the country’s largest glacier Vatnajökull. Very spacious room. Beautiful views out the window. Beds were really comfortable. They thought of all the little things. A place for your suitcase. A wall mirror. Hangers for your jackets. Spot under them for your shoes. A nice table to work from. Tv. Very fast wifi. Washroom was big and the shower was nice. very clean. Staff were super friendly. Breakfast was good. Thanks for a great stay!
