Oyado Koto No Yume ligt op slechts 2 minuten wandelen van het Station Takayama en biedt kamers in Japanse stijl met een kleurrijk tintje. It's really hard to express how superb this stay was. And it was only 1 day. I imagine this is thanks to type of the place, not being typical hotel, but rather traditional ryokan with it's quality. From the beginning, the staff was excellent. Helpful, informative, easy to talk to. The room, comparing to our other hotels, was huge. Sleeping on futon was our best sleeping experience during whole stay in Japan. We have booked private bath, and again - everything well prepared, all important things available in the room. We were provided also with yukatas to be used in ryokan, but in addition we could also use more colorful that could be used outside. Hotel is 5 minutes walk from main station and on the way to old town of Takayama. The last but not least - breakfast was the best we had in Japan. We have chosen Japanese one and we could try many elements.

Historical Ryokan Hostel K's House Ito Onsen is gevestigd in een 100 jaar oud, historisch monument in Shizuoka en ligt op 7 minuten lopen van het JR treinstation van Ito. Een hotel om in superlatieven over te spreken. Het was mijn tweede verblijf in dit hotel en ik had deze keer geöpteerd voor een kamer met zicht op de rivier, wat de ervaring nog mooier maakte. Hoogtepunten zijn het authentieke gebouw zelf, dat de reiziger doet terugkeren in tijd naar het Taisho-tijdperk maar ook een heel eigen gezelligheid en geborgenheid uitstraalt, het vriendelijke personeel dat hier zeker een rol in speelt, de eigen onsen, de schilderachtige ligging aan een riviertje. The hosts were welcoming and attentive to our needs. The decor and ambience of our room. Available parking and the cleanliness of the place.

Atami Sekaie is gelegen in Atami, op 2,6 km van Atami Sun Beach en 25 km van station Hakone-Yumoto, en biedt accommodatie met een restaurant, gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. We really enjoyed our stay and the meals (dinner & breakfast) were excellent.

SOKI ATAMI bevindt zich in Atami, op 1,7 km van Atami Sun Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. De rust, het bad op balkon en ruimte v d kamer.

Toraya bevindt zich in Gero, op 48 km van treinstation Takayama, en biedt uitzicht op de bergen. This was a great find! The location, facilities, staff and breakfast was excellent. The Onsen was outdoor and had a beautiful garden setting. The check-in was very personable and informative about what to see and where to eat. We will return.

Yumeguri no Yado Yoshiharu is gelegen in Izunokuni, op 9,1 km van Shuzenji tempel, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. Beautiful, authentic, very relaxing stay. Would recommend for couples as it has the opportunity for private onsen baths which were so nice (there are also public onsens). The rooms were really spacious and tea services were provided in the rooms. The dining experience was really unique with all of the separate dishes and super high quality. The town is small so whilst I'm sure there are other places to eat, there is no need to do that. Also super fun to go to the panorama park and get brilliant photos of Mount Fuji.

Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 is een accommodatie met 2 sterren tegenover het strand in Higashiizu met heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. The kindest owner I've ever had. He cares about our comfort and has a genuine curiosity about the guests. I felt like at home. Really cozy and comfortable stay. 100% recommended!

Nagataki bevindt zich in Nakatsugawa, op 12 km van Enakyo Wonderland en 13 km van Ōi, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Very good experience in old rayokan. Big house great hospitality.

Bousui - really magnificent ryokan hotel which takes special place in my wife’s and mine hearts😄! Room was very big, all over traditionally designed, very atmospheric and comfortable! Hot spring baths were amazing too: luxurious, very comfortable and with beautiful sea views! Premium gazebo was especially great! Really worth it! Employee, who helped us in room was very attentive, helpful and made all we could need to take all the best from our staying! Special thanks for pleasant conversations and tons of very interesting information! You made our staying unforgettable! Additionally to traditional breakfast, we asked for Kaiseki dinner - it was third Kaiseki we got, and truly, the most delicious and impressive! Fish was as fresh as it is possible, serving was full of beautiful and very interesting details! Last, but not least part of our rest was massage in award winning GECCA SPA: to be honest, Suzune gave me greatest massage I ever got! She was so attentive and diligent, made message with so masterpiece, that I’ve got extreme pleasure and relief! More over, it was first time when I feel, that therapist don’t just do it work, but really cares of me!🙏🏻 Btw, my wife never liked massages, but even she was really impressed by Suzune’s work!
