Less than a mile from John Lennon Airport, this family-run guest house is a 20-minute drive from Liverpool city centre. Gateway Lodge offers free parking and cosy rooms with free Wi-Fi. Perfect, value for money and location beats any of those big chain hotels/motels near the airport It is also super quiet. We could sleep with open windows!!! We stayed in several places during the 10 days preceding the Gateway Lodge. None of those could compare to the quality of the Lodge.

Beautiful house, was welcomed very warmly (Mel, the host lady, was even asked to let her dad in because he had no keys and she was gone). Bed was great, shower was amazing. Everything was clean. Could have made tea and coffee and also something to eat (plates and cutlery was in the room) but didn't used it. The area around is very quiet and peaceful. And if you wanna eat, go to restaurant Pesto (700 meters away) - I recommend this :-D Thanks, Mel, for your hospitality =)

Sapphire Home Stay features a shared lounge, as well as accommodation with free WiFi and a kitchen in Liverpool, 6 km from Royal Court Theatre. There is a shared kitchen and dining area. Location was great also the facilities!

The Adelphi Guest House offers well-appointed accommodation on England’s north-west coast, just 2 minutes’ walk from Southport Theatre and Convention Centre. Caroline is an amazing host. Friendly, helpful, and always up for a chat. Would strongly recommend this place if you're staying in Southport.

The Ambassador Townhouse is set in the centre of Southport, and only 10 minutes' walk from Southport Rail Station. Friendly, welcoming, homely. Good food. Nothing too much trouble. Tasteful decor. Good location, central for all amenities, shopping and leisure. Highly recommend. Definitely will be returning.
