The rooms were modern and clean but a little cramped.
The rooms were modern and clean but a little cramped. There was good secure separation between the hotel rooms and the hotel bars. It is very central to Chesterfield, which was fantastic.
Unfortunately the room did not have a fridge and the wifi cut out every couple of minutes.

Love Chesterfield. Such a pretty town.
Love Chesterfield. Such a pretty town. You must visit the church with the wonky steeple. We loved the market and #Coffee shop.
My husband is on a mobility scooter and the pavements were a bit wobbly!
As we were on a budget we ate at Wetherspoons where my husband enjoyed a really good craft beer and myself an excellent white wine (Villa Maria) Also we enjoyed the food there

Chesterfield was very busy, as should be expected on a Saturday, but the scariest bit was the roundabout system just outside the town near the retail park. I gave up trying to navigate them and changed my plans

Brilliant location for visiting Chatsworth House and Bolsover Castle.
Loved the market town vibe and the twisted spire on the church was fascinating. No climbs inside, til the spring and summer though.
Some fascinating architecture to see and a brilliantly helpful Tourist Information Office where we got a couple of town walk maps.

Second only visit to the city of the "Twisted Spire" even though only for a brief stay over pleasant enough. Have to add the young lady who booked us in at the Spread Eagle was absolutely charming and a credit...will surely have no hesitation in re-booking...so it's a Ten! from Len :)
Have stayed previously and will stay again. We stayed in a slightly smaller room than normal but the facilities are just the same. All the meals were perfect. The four of us each had a different main course, as we always do, and everyone one of them was beautifully prepared. Would seriously recommend the chicken dinner. Breakfast was served in the “pub” and was similarly substantial with extra teas and coffee brought to us on request. Some hotels we frequent are not so generous. Will return in near future and looking forward to it.
We booked this location for a celebration of life.
All of the staff were so professional, quick to help and supportive of all of the unexpected asks we came up with.
The event coordinators were both so massively helpful with all of our worries, planning and asks and the day went better than we could have ever thought possible.
The Casa Hotel was a beautiful venue and the decoration, extra touches and overall set-up were brilliant. As was the food which lots of people complimented.
Thank you again
The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The hotel is stylishly decorated and smells amazing in reception area! The room was adequate for me as I was travelling on my own but the bed would have been too small for a couple. It felt like a small double rather than a normal double but I have a king size at home so probably felt small for me anyway!!
Otherwise, I would definitely come back to stay here, it was ideally located for my needs, well presented, food was excellent and staff capable and friendly.
James was extremely friendly and helpful, with lots of information and even assisted us in providing an emergency iron and ironing board. We booked three rooms and all were larger than expected and well equipped and very comfortable. Breakfast was great, easy for us to help ourselves based on our own schedule. Location easy to find, adequate parking at hotel plus street parking and local car park nearby. Easy walking into Chesterfield, all exceeding our expectations.
Nice hotel outside Chesterfield and close to M1 motorway. Rooms are located in the main building and also in separate buildings containing three or four rooms. Ours was in one of these villas and was spacious and comfortable. There is a beautiful spa with all the usual facilities. We had a massage treatment which was excellent. The restaurant was good and our meal delicious. Ample parking.

The location was excellent and the host was extremely responsive. The bathroom was recently remodeled and the place was charming. Fast wifi and it had everything we really needed for the portion of our trip in Chesterfield. It was a great deal and we paid less than $100 USD per night, which is a bargin!
A warm welcome, hotel location is ideal for town centre, free parking, very clean and the shower was excellent, the addition of the complimentary breakfast was nice. The Spread Eagle is certainly good value, just a pity we hadn't more time to visit the bar, maybe next time!
all food exceptional room amazing everything about this hotel is brilliant.Staff polite nothing is too much trouble.
Ideal location just outside Chesterfield close to Bakewell and other tourist areas.
Location good for visiting Chesterfield Town centre and Chatsworth and some friends in the area. A nice extra was having a goodie basket. The studio was well planned and warm.
Excellent breakfast. Cleanliness throughout. Parking on site and on good bus service into Chesterfield whose town centre hotels don't have onsite parking.
