This hotel was excellent for a quiet off track location. A walk down to the beach through beautiful gardens. The staff is the star of this show and catered to all our needs. Shout out to Bella and Lucy in the dining room and Susannah up front. They were so friendly and helpful. The food was really wonderful and we ate most of our meals there. Local ingredients such as the wild garlic from the garden really made everything taste better.

Falmouth is a hilly town but has lots to offer for all age groups if you can walk up hills. The town is like most other towns with many empty shops sadly but there are still lots of shops and independent shops. The art gallery was a bit disappointing although the building it was in is beautiful. The Museum is good value for money and you can return any time within the year once you have paid entrance fee. Falmouth is very close to lots of other nice places in Cornwall. You can easily walk from the train station into town. I ate at Verdant Tapas bar and another Tapas bar outside of town, you cannot pre book at Verdants. The town is a bit tatty in places but it adds to its character! Lots of places to eat to cater for all peoples tastes!

The "Sabzi" cafe is great for vegan persian themed food, daily changing menu, a sample box is enough food for two people two meals. The Charity shops have more men's wear than most: Jackets, Shoes.

I love having a variety of safe sandy swimming beaches with calm waters ideal for paddleboarding, kayak exploration. Great range of places to eat, lots of options for vegans. Always some type of live music on somewhere. Good vibe to the town. Ideal location to explore the surrounding area by foot. A must visit is the Wilder Kitchen, such a gem serving delicious Thali. Also Castle beach cafe for takeaway breakfast or lunch and Ciuri Ciuri for the best italian Gelato (always great vegan choices too)

We loved falmouth and are looking forward to visiting in the spring. Great independent shops with loads of places to eat and drink.
Gilly beach was fab and the restaurant was great
Well be sure to visit again
It was my second stay at Poltair and was just as enjoyable as the previous one. This place is a gem: comfortable beds, large room with a lovely view and a little balcony. This is a small guest house and the owners take very good care of the place and their guests. The staff are all lovely. There are many little extra touches too, such as a little bottle of wine and chocolate in the room on arrival. I will definitely choose them again when I am next in Falmouth.
I've stayed here before so the fact that I came back tells you everything. The rooms are comfy and very clean and even a little chic in some respects. The staff are all really friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are excellent. Location is perfect, at the quiet end of town but still only a few minutes walk from the main drag. Also, if you're really lucky you get greeted by Teddy the hotel poodle upon arrival.
Very nice room and bathroom, clean, comfortable and cosy. Lovely views of the coast and garden. Breakfast was good and the food I ordered for dinner was very good. Nice attention to detail and good service. The hotel is in a lovely location away from the hustle and bustle of Falmouth. But near Trebah and Glendurgan and the coastal footpath. Would stay there again.
Everything about the Hotel Meudon far surpassed our expectations, from the lovely (and spacious) cottage in which my husband, myself and our two children stayed, to the gorgeous grounds and the absolutely gourmet food we had at each meal. We have determined this will be the only place we stay when we return to Cornwall, and feel so lucky to have found it online.
A spacious family room, with the added bonus of a small kitchen area. Accessing the room was easy and there were many free parking places in front of the house (meaning that we didn't need to take advantage of the parking spaces provided at the rear). The hotel is situated just a short walk away from Falmouth harbour and all of the delights that it offers.
Lovely little annex in grounds of hotel so the added bonus of being able to order breakfast and dinner in the hotel if you wanted. 5 minute walk to a lovely beach and the coastal path and short drive to Falmouth and Helford Passage.
Annex was super comfortable. We stayed here with our two boys who slept on the sofa bed. Couldn’t fault a thing!
What a super hotel in a super area, very clean and super friendly staff, this hotel is a must if you are coming to Falmouth. James the wonderful porter was really helpful and give us great recommendations on where to go in Falmouth. I think this hotel is a little gem. I travel a lot and it is the people that make your day, so thank you!
Arrived Friday evening and met by staff
Unfortunately I was unwell on Friday night and throughout Saturday which required my wife and I to reduce our stay and return home
This was due to an existing medical issue and the proprietor gave us 100% support
Would recommend this hotel if staying in Falmouth
Situated within minutes to the town center and with breath taking views over Falmouth hourbour, Cotswolds House is the perfect place to stay. The room was sensational and the hosts could not have been more hospitable. The breakfast was faultless and I can't wait to return for another visit.
The hotel is in an excellent location close to the beach but only a short walk from the centre of Falmouth and the cliff paths for walks.. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. There was a good choice if food for breakfast and the bar is handy although we didn't use it this time.
The location of the hotel is great ,also the staff and breakfast was great.
We have been staying here for the last five years and return later in the season as enjoy it so much.
Havent yet found another hotel in Falmouth that offers the same value .
Well located for access to all local attractions, in Falmouth Town or walks along Coastal Path.
Friendly staff added to the very comfortable stay at all times.
Excellent breakfast with variety of freshly cooked offerings.
Very friendly owners. Everything very clean and COVID aware. Breakfast was tasty and served by Karen who was a great asset. It was a pleasant 10 min walk into Falmouth or an even shorter walk to the beach.
beautiful property, fabulous room and magnificent breakfast. staff were also excellent. We have stayed in Falmouth several times, but this has been our best hotel stay yet.
