Sri Sentosa Chalet, hotel in Tioman Island

Facing the beachfront in Tioman Island, Sri Sentosa Chalet features a private beach area. Featuring a garden, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom.

I highly recommend Sri Sentosa Chalet in Kampung Mukut if you want a peaceful vacation away from the city. It's only 20 minutes walk to mejestic Asah waterfalls and 3 hours hiking/trekking to the mountain nearby the village. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The place is clean, the location of my room is at the beachfront, the room and toilet are wide. I'm very comfortable and will definitely go back to this place👍👍👍😁😁😁

Juara Mutiara Resort, hotel in Tioman Island

Juara Mutiara Resort provides modern chalets with a private bathroom on Tioman Island. Free WiFi is accessible in the resort’s common areas. Guests have access to a restaurant and private beach area.

Great location. Friendly management and staff - very helpful. Close to beach - which was idyllic. However the rooms, particularly bathroom could be upgraded, but still okay considering the low price for a short stay.

Do your homework, know the place you're staying and which jetty to get off from. Be respectful of the locals and your surroundings, manage your expectation. If you intend to go around (without renting bikes), it will be helpful to have comfortable footwear. Get in touch with the local guides to take you around or better, for a hike to the mountains. Dive, snorkel or even better, take the kayak and explore as much as you can. Take note of the operation hours of the eateries (ask the locals) as mostly open only for specific meal time. Have fun!

We loved this island, the rainforest is amazing with some beautiful waterfalls, cool water to swim and fabulous wildlife. The beaches are pristine, no rubbish, wide stretches of sand and crystal clear water, great snorkelling with reefs and fishes a plenty. Food and accommodation is good and reasonably priced . We walked everywhere and got a taxi to and from the port which was a truck - we stood up in the back and it was great fun. This is one of our favourite islands in the world.

We stayed in Juara beach only.

We stayed in Juara beach only. Nice and relaxing but enough options with snorkelling trips, scuba, hiking, swimming, motorcycle hire, kayaking etc so you don’t get bored. Some restaurants have very slow service and limited menu but there’s enough good ones like Rimba and Sun Cafe which are both really good.

for a food lover, you able to try the different taste and types of food in the island for example malay food and even western, , with the sea breeze and sea view, the spending might be more expensive than the off island maybe due to the tourist place, but the beach and sand are priceless, you can relax on the beach by doing nothing! Great experience

    It's an undiscovered, hidden gem.

It's an undiscovered, hidden gem. The beaches are pristine, the food is great and the snorkeling experience of all the underwater ocean life we saw was unprecedented. It's got waterfalls, cheap beer, sea food, exotic species and great weather and view.

Tioman Island was absolutely charming, and we stayed at ABC Beach. My wife and I are remote workers, so we found a place with good wifi and enjoyed the beautiful weather friendly atmosphere while we worked there. We also got scuba dive certified through B&J Diving Center. That was THE BEST decision ever. The staff ant B&J's were phenomenal and welcoming, and the bar scene was so much fun at night.

The location is exactly as mentioned, right on the beach. The room is spacious and clean. With the restaurant (Mama's Foodhouse) next door, we had no worries about getting food. Some more it's tasty. Apparently it's well recommended by everyone and rated mostly 5* on google review. Staying at Home Away gives us priority to have a slot (pre-order) because the restaurant always busy especially for dinner. With a young daughter, it makes our life easy. Overall great stay, food and family time. Highly recommended.

The location is beautiful! Secluded so not very busy. Nice snorkling just around the beach - we saw baby sharks! They have a very nice pier that you can sit on and enjoy a gorgeous sunset. It was a hike on 10 min through djungel (but on a path) to get to the village where more restaurants were, no problem to walk at night as long as you had a torch. The hotel can also take you there by boat. Restaurant was ok! Have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff super friendly and helpful! AC and a nice balcony to sit on.

This is a very basic accommodation . This means: no ac, our toilet needed to be flushed with a bucket, and there’s insects in the room. There is, however a mosquito net, a quite comfy bed and most importantly a REALLY nice common area. Travelers looking for a nice, laid back, warm and personal atmosphere will be happy here. Travelers looking for perfectly trained staff, a wide variety of breakfast choices and modernly equipped rooms, won’t.

We were picked up from the ferry port (paid service). The staff was friendly. We could book tours and taxi service back to the ferry port. There is nice restaurant with many options. The provided tour itself was great and pretty cheap. The hotel was basically on the beach. The staff notified us of the turtle hatchery close by when they were released in the sea, which was amazing to see.

The rooms were great. Everything that you would expect from a 4-star hotel. A special mention to the Rec Center staff, Yen and Salam who were exceptional in catering to our recreational needs and requests. Both speak very good English, friendly and skillfull. We felt safe and assured under their care. They really 'made' our holiday. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts ❤️

The best place to stay at Tioman island. The staff is super friendly, responsive and kind. The view from your beach chalet is incredible and the amenities are great (hot water and great ac). The wifi is great and we were even able to take a few zoom calls from here. Thank you and we will be back :)

The beach is clean and well managed. It is very suitable for people looking for peace, calm and relaxing. Comparing to Paya beach, Berjaya beach view is a lot better. The crowd is also just nice, not pack even though it is peak season which simply means Berjaya is prioritize quality over quantity.
