Tarifa is a coastal town in Andalusia, popular with windsurfers and kitesurfers thanks to its long sandy beaches, crystal blue waters and windy conditions. This adored Spanish destination will impress you with its lush greenery, untouched coastline and golden sand dunes.

Tarifa has one of the best beaches I've been to.
Tarifa has one of the best beaches I've been to. Large, with fine sand, clean and easy entry into the water. Due to the winds, the area is good for water sports (kite surfing, etc), not so much for swimming, due to the waves. Good position to watch the sun set into the sea. Great place to chill at a bar nearby the beach, eat ice cream, have dinner. Tarifa is also very close to Morocco, a short ferry ride away from Tangier. Great little town, the beach full of kite surfers when we arrived & was a sight to see. Very sweet small old town, clean, cute shops, excellent eateries including Powerhouse bakery & dinner at Axta- superb! Very walkable, views for sunset over the sea, Morocco in the distance. Low key in feb & most enjoyable.

Tarifa is a very unique place with a super relaxed and good vibe. If you want to explore the coast line it's a great base, easy to park cars outside the old town walls. There are various dunes and historic sites to visit within 1 hour of the city as well as view points from various locations with unbeatable views of the coastline and seeing Morocco which is pretty special. For eating, there is an amazing Italian Restaurant highly recommended called La Trattoria. I am Italian and the pasta was very good quality for Spain. There are also lovely restaurants beyond the port along the beach and in the area just outside the old town walls towards this direction. It is easy to walk around the city and there is plenty of shopping in boutique shops as well as surfer/sports shops. Nice beach and awesome kite boarders to watch. Pretty shops and a good walking town, cool places along the beach for a drink or to eat. Ferry terminal in the town. Lots of bars and restaurants. The town has a cool beachy vibe.

The property itself was well designed and very comfortable and safe. Free parking on site was great. The restaurant was very comfortable and convenient. The menu was inexpensive and had choices of excellent food served by a friendly staff and the hostess couple were fabulous with making us feel welcome, meeting our every need, and providing tips on what to see. I highly recommend a stay at Banti!

You could feel the history in the place. Bars and restaurants on your doorstep and just a short walk to the beach. Great roof terrace with plenty of space. The flat had a good layout for a family of four. Having two bathrooms was also very useful. Conchi was just a WhatsApp away to answer any questions we had. The perfect place to base yourself in Tarifa - we will be back!
