Rose was there to greet us and had allowed us to check in early so we could go on a walk without leaving our luggage in the car. She met us complete with cute little gosling in hand! The Hayloft was a beautiful spacious studio apartment with four single beds, a curtain dividing the sleeping area from the living area. There was a beautiful view from the bedroom area. The apartment was spacious and tastefully decorated and the kitchen area well kitted out. The farm was very well located, only a 10 minute drive from Brecon.
Built in 1741, the Peterstone Court Country House Restaurant & Spa Hotel blends traditional charm with modern facilities. Complimentary WiFi and free parking is available at this property.

Great location for walks but it’s SO quiet in the evenings! Not much option for good food except greasy ‘and chips’ places.
Next time would stay somewhere within driving distance of the Brecon National Park. Expected Brecon to be at the hub of things but wasn’t. Saying that it’s a pretty centre.

Lovely picturesque town, plenty of shops etc
Down side absolutely shockingly no transport!!!
You have to get a cab and that was almost impossible, they really need to improve transport links, I had to book a cab from abergavenny which cost a small fortune just to be able to catch train home.
It's better if you drive

From the town with independent shops to the breathtaking walks this is a lovely place to spend some time to take in the Welsh scenery. There is plenty of parking and places to stay and prices are reasonable. The museums and community centres are not to be missed.

Our visit to Brecon was to meet friends and celebrate a milestone birthday. We had a fantastic bit short trip and regretted not having more time to explore the town more as well as the local countryside.
We loved our 2 days staying at the town house at Brecon . The house was beautiful and our room was tastefully decorated with lovely furnishings.
The bed was comfortable and the bed linen was top quality . The bathroom was clean with a lovely shower and nice products . Tea and coffee facilities in the room .
Delicious breakfast served with plenty of choice .The hotel owner was lovely and made us feel very welcome we will definitely be staying there again
We had a fantastic long weekend stay at Vale Farm. The location was perfect - about 10 mins from Brecon and within east reach of the Beacons. The scenery was stunning and the children loved playing in the field with the dog. The owners were really friendly and helpful with local information. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and the pool and hot tub were a huge hit with our 11 and 9 year olds. We will definitely be returning!
An amazing place to stay! Great location for Pen Y Fan and for other fab walks in the Brecon Beacons. The town of Brecon is lovely, some great restaurants and cafes and the cathedral is a must see.
Mount Street house is a beautiful guest house, super comfy beds and lovely facilities. The breakfast was amazing, local produce and freshly cooked to order. We will definitely be back! Thank you :)
Owners could not have done anymore, she was extremely friendly to all guests, nothing was too much trouble.
Very dog friendly allowed in all areas of the inn.
Brilliant breakfast catering for all needs, as I am vegan I had a good choice of for the hot breakfast.
A simple but decent pub food menu, good pitstop before carrying on to our other destination
David and Co were fantastic. We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived, nothing was too much trouble when we asked for something. Breakfast is excellent, the location of the hotel is great for getting into town and out into the Brecon Beacons.
I am already planning another trip to the area and will use Castle Farm Guest House again.
The location was great, in Brecon town centre and close to Pen Y Fan which was the reason for our trip. There’s no parking which is a pain as you can only park outside the hotel for 1 hour and then you have to move your car. There is a paying car park about a 10 minute walk away. The bed was comfy and the shower had a good pressure.
Great location. Really comfortable and spacious en-suite room. Our room afford dual aspect views of the narrow boat canal/marina and the Brecon Beacons. Rachel & Sid were very welcoming, helpful & super hosts. Breakfasts were very good. Lovely conservatory & garden to chill out and enjoy the spectacular landscape.
A friendly reception by the manager with good banter. Hotel right in the centre of Brecon with parking available on the doorstep, although parking wardens meant we had to move the car at 9am. Room was clean and comfortable and in good condition. The staff were fun and engaging and helpful.
Such a beautiful place right next to the town not even a 5 minute walk perfect tony is amazing a lovely host he goes out his way to make sure you have a fantastic stay and I had the best sleep ever bed was so comfortable and I would stay again
Brecon isn’t a big place so everywhere in the village is within walking distance. Christine is fantastic. She’ll help you with anything you need.
The room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed.
Breakfasts were fantastic.
Large and spacious rooms to spread out luggage and relax. Center of village location. Ice cream store and small grocery just down the steps and around the corner.
Brilliant location for brecon Town centre. Stayed here for a family wedding near by
