Britain’s 4th most popular visitor destination, Bristol features Brunel’s magnificent Clifton Suspension Bridge spanning the Avon River. More Brunel handiwork is in the harbor, where his SS Great Britain steamship is moored. Pirate walks here detail the city’s underground naval history.
Further north in Clifton is the world’s oldest zoo outside a capital city. Other Bristol attractions include At-Bristol Museum and the Grade I registered historic Corn Exchange with its 4 "nails" outside where money changed hands. Also worth a visit is St. Nicholas Market, in a Georgian square home to several bars and a Slow Food Market on the 1st Sunday of every month. Other Bristol shopping options include shopping centers at Cabot Circus, and Cribbs Causeway on the outskirts.
As a student city, Bristol really comes to life after dark. The live music scene here is fantastic and has given way to several internationally known bands, but for something more alternative head to Eastside.
Another option for alternative-seekers is the work of hometown street artist Banksy. Just like Booking.com’s Bristol accommodations, his work is spread throughout this fabulous city.
This Gateway to the West Country is served by Bristol Airport and Temple Meads train station. The old Bristol to Bath rail line is now a cycle route and makes a great day trip.

The room was clean , bright and airy with just the four beds and four sets of draws , the toilets and showers were near by along the corridor again they were spotless , clean and well maintained plenty of hot water to enjoy a good shower. The Plug sockets 2 sets of two were set along one wall and covered by two of the four beds . And the two windows next to a busy road were only single glazed so the room was noisy from the traffic and people on the pavement. Over all I like d the Location and I slept very well despite the noise and the beds were to soft.

We took a walking tour of Bristol centre which was very interesting, visited the SS Great Britain which was excellent. The M-shed museum captured Bristol life very well, but we thought the small section on slavery was insufficient when the Cathedral had much more informative displays.
The aviation museum with Concorde was worth visiting, lots of information on Bristol's aviation history in both war and comercial times.
Lots of good food and drink choices in Bristol centre, not there in the evening but lively during the day in early May.
Driving into the centre on two days was challenging, lots of slip roads, sudden turns and changing speed limits. Getting to Wapping Wharf for the SS Great Britain was the worse, went around a couple of times before getting the right turning.

Bristol is a great city to visit.
Bristol is a great city to visit. We did a Treasure Trail around the harbourside which was fun and very interesting. We saw 2 "Bankys".
As the weather was glorious there were very many people enjoying the river. Paddle boarding, sailing and just sitting on the quayside.
We ran out of time to visit the Clifton Suspension bridge and the Observatory so we shall have to make another visit sometime.
We can recommend the Tikka Flame if you enjoy a good curry.

Great city; lots of shops; restaurants; attractions; walking tours
The British history and art museum was free to access and well worth a visit. Ate lunch at little bistro along the harbourside (Arnolfini) - lovely to sit in the sun, watching boat trips; harbour master sailing around. Cabot Circus has many options for food, together with hundreds of pubs/restaurants throughout the town centre. The food/bar outlets along the river are lovely on a nice, sunny day (near Welsh Back Street). Parking at Cabot Circus for 3 days worked great - offers on free parking option with a stay at Future Inn. Definitely worth thinking of, to save looking for alternative parking.
The Inn wasvery easy to find opposite the train station. I preferred being there rather than in the main city centre.
The room was very comfortable (the duvet a little too hot and heavy) but facilities excellent. I wasn't expecting such a
variety of food at the breakfast I also ate there on the Sunday evening and enjoyed my meal and certainly didn't feel uncomfortable being on my own. All the staff were extremely helpful and polite. I would recommend your hotel to anyone I know going to Bristol.
This suited our needs for our 1st trip to Bristol. We stayed 4 nights. The rooms and hotel are a bit tired but the staff are fantastic and the breakie included is good value and freshly cooked. We got to know the smiling and ever helpful staff who made the stay special. Iman, Irune, Hannah, Ewa, Verity, Vineta, and Bea were all exceptional with their customer service. We will return on our next visit. Wifi was fast, and new beds were comfortable. Good location to get into city centre and Clifton.
This is an excellent and comfortable hotel located near the M5 which provides fast links to Cribbs Causeway and the city centre of Bristol. The beds are comfortable and there is a large tv in the rooms.
The hotel also has plenty of parking spaces and we were able to get a space near the entrance of the hotel with a cost of £6 for the night. Just remember to enter your car registration into the touchscreen pad at reception to avoid a fine.
The staff are also very welcoming and friendly.
There was a genuine, warm welcome at reception and the room was excellent. Very clean, very comfortable and very well equipped. The location of the hotel is perfect for the city centre. All of the staff, from the team on reception, those serving breakfast, and those cleaning, all were friendly and helpful. I like Bristol, it's a great city to visit and from now on this will always be my hotel of choice. Thank you.
The room was huge and so was the bathroom. Great touches such as a bathrobe (only one but you can request more) slippers (one pair!) Complimentary bottles of water, biscuits. We happened to have a balcony, these are not as standard only corner rooms but lovely bonus even though it's overlooking very busy and noisy road. Hotel is very well located ,super covinient to access central Bristol.
Everything was very clean, including the great big bathtub. Amazing views from the higher floors, and the elevator was very fast, which is a huge perk when you're 15 stories high. All around wonderful stay, and plenty of delicious restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. I stayed in 4 hotels on my UK trip and the Radison Blu Bristol was easily my favorite.
Good location, quiet and near the centre. The bed was quite comfortable and it was good to have a decent sized fridge freezer although the doors should have been hung on the other side. Bristol is a great place for walking, sightseeking and some great museums. and there is a good bus service.
Lovely house felt very at home and is very close to the station and lots of other places definitely recommend. Will definitely be going back in the future if in Bristol. Just could do with some curtains in the kitchen area as would make it feel more comfortable at night.
Clean, comfortable bed and quiet. Ideally located in city centre so perfect for attending graduation at Bristol cathedral - parking safe and secure at millennium car park and 20% discount was good from hotel.
This hotel is in a great location for Bristol City Centre. Right opposite the Shopping Centre with lots of food outlets. Next door to large car park which is included. Comfortable room and large Queen beds.
Great, spacious place, newly renovated. Not best location if you’re planning to see Bristol city centre but great if you travel by car. Very quiet area, free parking, kitchen fully equipped
For what is generally a budget-type hotel, the facilities were comfortable and fully up to expectations. Staff were genuinely courteous and helpful, especially in the breakfast area.
Good parking facilities, bus stops to both Bristol city centre and Bath just outside the hotel. Spacious room ,comfy beds. The breakfast was buffet style, food plentiful and varied.
Amenities were all you could wish for and expect from an upmarket hotel. Great breakfast choices for all tastes.Fabulous location for exploring Bristol city centre.
