Quality Inn Bryce Canyon, hotel in Panguitch

This Panguitch, Utah resort is 20 miles from the Bryce National Park. Zion National Park is 68 miles away. A free hot American breakfast is served daily.

Not a lot to like, except the staff were perfectly pleasant, and the price was good. Breakfast not great, heavy waffles and powdered egg, but filled a hole for the journey on.

Dragonfly Motor Lodge, hotel in Panguitch

Dragonfly was created for the self reliant traveler who likes to get away from the crowds and explore the path less traveled.

I loved the renovation of this motor lodge. The linens were comfortable and towels were very thick. I also liked the dishes, silverware, and mugs which are so much better than plastic throwaways.

I love the 1 stop light town.

I love the 1 stop light town. Everything is within a few blocks. Couple gas stations , great market. 4 or 5 different places to eat. Old town feel , centrally located near bryce canyon , ceder breaks lake Panguitch / good fishing , navaho lake , good fishing beautiful surondings. Easy to see some local wildlife. Just there the 27th - 30th saw lots of deer - antelope - wild turkey - my 1st condors. Access to Brianhead less than 1 he and Zion 70 miles. There are some absolutely gorgeous historic homes in Panguitch but the town itself could use a refresh. They have tremendous potential with the historic downtown and its proximity to many National Parks but in all honesty, the town looks like it’s seen better days and needs someone to kickstart a revitalization. This takes a concerted effort, I know, I was involved with a chamber of commerce for many years in Northern California and everyone needs to be one the same page. We ate at Kenny Ray’s and Cowboy BBQ. Both had great, friendly staff food was nothing exceptional but portions were large.

Panguitch is a small town well situated near Bryce Canyon...

Panguitch is a small town well situated near Bryce Canyon and Cedar Breaks. There is a big Days Inn but most motels are comfortably refurbished older places. Good restaurants are available. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Bryce from here and an hour to Zion. You can access the Interstate (I-15) by using a connector road (Hwy 20) from Hwy 89 a few miles north of town. 20 generally stays open in winter, but ask. We went north on 89 out of Panguitch and soon hit I-70 right after visiting Butch Cassidy’s boyhood home. I-70 goes over the San Rafael Swell and east to Green River past Moab then on east. Or west to Vegas and LA via I-15. We got off of I-70 at Salina and stayed in the valley, going in north annd eventually coming to I-15 at Nephi, avoiding three mountain passes that have winter chain-up places.

Location is 20 min outside Bryce, and twenty min outside of panquitch. Town is very small and seemed deserted. Inn is very outdated but beds were comfortable enough .no grocery stores close by . Small restaurant near inn but we did not eat there .

The door lock was inoperable, so we were given another room. The heater of the 2nd room was faulty and turned off in less than 2 minutes. The room never got warm. We wanted a refund, but the desk clerk was not authorized to do so. We left and drove to Green River, UT. We are very displeased with the Panguitch Days Inn.

The room was clean and comfortable. The owner was truly friendly and helpful. The hotel is in downtown Panguich, so we could walk to restaurants and shopping. There are antique stores close by, which we had so much fun exploring. We were a few minutes drive from Bryce Canyon N.P. We also enjoyed Red Canyon, which is part of the Dixie national Forrest, and only a ten minute drive from the hotel. The area around panguich is jaw-droppingly beautiful. If you like to explore the outdoors, hiking, biking, photography, this is the place for you.

We loved staying in the motel. Everything quite new and well maintained. Towels, bed sheets etc are not worn out. Nice furniture. Fridge, microwave and coffee-machine in the room. Designated parking spot for each room. Walking distance to a few food options. Try Cowboy's Smokehouse Cafe - food and beer was great. Exactly 30 mins driving to Bryce canyon. Be careful - there are many sheriffs’ cars looking for speeding drivers in that park and county!! The room was very cozy, with some purple colors.

The front desk was amazing. He was very nice and helpful. He was the best thing overall of the motel with the price. The price was very cheap and therefore was understandable some of the conditions. The air conditioner was fixed with a tape and our window was broken. Very dirty carpet and bedsheets. The room had a bad smell. We ended not staying there and going to a nicer place for almost the same prize. Overall the motel had bad installations and very dirty but for a low price.

We stayed in the room called 'Mountain View' on the second floor of this lovely, old (but updated and spotlessly clean) house. Our room was spacious with a separate closet area and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a standalone bath. Welcome was friendly, bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was great. Panguitch is a small but interesting, historic town and a great base for exploring Bryce Canyon. Would highly recommend this family-run B&B.

great location. friendly staff, clean room, dog friendly with a nice dog area. overall the property is dated (like pretty much everything in town) but rooms are comfortable & clean with microwave & mini frig… perfect place & price after a day of hiking & exploring. 10min from Red Canyon visitor center (amazing place to see!) and maybe 25min from Bryce Canyon entrance. I don’t recommend bbq grill across the street.

This was a very attractive accommodation: a classic motel with freshly renovated rooms, with a nice bathroom, wooden floors, clean, modern, functional. Very good value, and exceptionally friendly proprietor. There was even a fire-pit outside, with chairs, and fire wood. (that we didn't have time to use). We had the family room, with three (grown) children, on the way to Bryce Canyon.

The location was perfect for exploring the stunning natural wonders of Dixie Forest, Kodachrome Basin, and Bryce Canyon. It provided the ideal base for our adventures, and we couldn't have asked for a better spot. If you're planning to explore these incredible places, I highly recommend booking here – you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic value for money. Small traditional motel which had been updated and was comfortable. Location in Panguitch was reasonably convenient for Bryce Canyon and had the amenities of the town. There was very little traffic during the evening and night so motel was quiet.
