This is a place for those who want the sun, sand and the ocean. Nice walks along the promenade beside the marina and beyond. Prices in restaurants and for boat rides are very high. Architecturally, the 'old' town hasn't much to offer of interest and it's impossible to get a taxi from there. Been to Cambrils many times, I have family there. You’ll need a bit more than basic Spanish. Shops , bars and restaurants are plenty and prepare to queue, locals know what they want! Fully stocked kitchen with coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher and basic condiments provided. The house is literally 100m from the beach. It's a 15mins walk from Cambrils town but it's a lovely walk along the seafront and is only 5mins by bike (bike lanes all the way along the promenade). Finally, the price was excellent.
