Every single staff member were so lovely, they couldn't do enough for us. It was a real family atmosphere. We do not have kids but we have dogs, our furry kids, and there were no restrictions the staff will made a fuss of them and they had sausages in the morning, they were really spoilt, this in turn helped the dogs feel at home and relaxed therefore really well behaved. Making our stay really relaxed. Everything was absolutly bang on here. The room we had was amazing! Well defo be back xx

Bala lake itself is obviously the main attraction and that was well visited when we were there but there was plenty of car parking to access along with excellent options for access to the lake from various car parks on both sides of the lake. You could even take a ride on the steam train and get off at an excellent bay in which to canoe, swim, paddle and enjoy a full family day at leisure.

The town has everything that you'd need & the surrounding countryside is beautiful with some easy walks & some for the more adventurous. I stayed for one night during a three-day cycling tour.
I stayed for one night during a three-day cycling tour. Beautiful country around. White Lion Royal Hotel is a good place to stay, especially if you need an early start, as it serves breakfast early. It also serves excellent pub food - though the kitchen closed early this day, so I missed out. There are several other places to eat along the High Street, including pizza places and an Indian restaurant.

Disappointed of the town not a bit like we expected.Two nights we ate in a small Bistro just two doors from the hotel, the food was excellent and very friendly staff and service . It was called Cyfnod Cafe and Bistro.

Good size toilet and shower. Sitting space is also very spacious and comphy to gather around the dinning table. There is Tv, VCR recorder, dryer everything you need out of home. the host was very pleasant and would deffinatly recomend the stay.

There was a public car park directly opposite the accommodation but we managed to park outside the property during our stay. Lots of places to eat locally and a supermarket literally minutes from Bala Suites. All in all a delightful break and excellent value for money!

The cottage was roomy and well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We loved the build BBQ, the deck wooden deck and the enclosed private backyard where our border collie could have some fun. .

The location is great and just a 2 minute walk to the little station where you can catch the little steam train in to Bala.
