Conway's Cottage with Sea View Nestling by Cliffs-of-Moher, hotel in Liscannor

Offering a garden and sea view, Conway's Cottage with Sea View Nestling by Cliffs-of-Moher is situated in Liscannor, 2.2 km from Cliffs of Moher and 15 km from Doolin Cave.

Daniel and his mum were so nice and accommodating. We asked if an early breakfast was possible as we wanted to check out very early to get to the Cliffs of Moher before all the tourist buses. They prepared it the night before and everything was delicious. Daniel gave us lots of great tips for places to visit and was so funny that I could well imagine having a Guinness with him in the pub. The room was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed sitting in the living room with the large windows overlooking the sea. It felt like we had our own little home in Ireland, that's how comfortable the made us feel there. I would definitely recommend it to others.

    Liscannor is a perfect spot.

Liscannor is a perfect spot. Everything is on your doorstep and is somewhat quieter then Lahimch. There are a few bars and places to eat but there is nothing better to just sit down and enjoy a few pints with the most friendly people after a day of walking over the magnificent Cliffs on Moher or indeed any of the other major attractions in Clare

The Cottage was cozy, we had a slight mishap with getting into the cottage on arrival, but within half an hour we were helped into the cottage. You get glimpses of the stunning ocean view from the kitchen and upstairs. The sliding door needs a little attention as it was very difficult to open, to such an extent that we just used the other door. The 2 rooms are cozy and spacious, not much room for clothing though and the wardropes was a little wobbly, as it would keep falling of the rails when you open them. There is only 1 shower and toilet in the cottage, on the ground floor, which is not great for going to the toilet at night, so just a heads-up for the elderly or folks with younger kids. The overall layout is very clever and neat. It was spotless and very cozy, once you left the property you have breathtaking views of the ocean. No shops or amenities that we could find that is in short walking distance, but close enough to get to with a car. Very quick to get to the cliffs of moher, which was the highlight of the trip, unfortunately the weather was not very pleasant, but still worth the trip. Overall I would give it a 7 out of 10.

Liscannor is a small village with a a couple of Pubs and of course the Anchor Inn - a great place to stay and eat. It is an ideal base to explore Clare and to visit nearby Lahinch and of course the Cliffs of Moher. We had the bikes and cycling in the area is relatively safe and a great way to see the local scenery. The Rock Shop is well worth a visit for either gifts or a coffee and snack.

Liscannor is very convenient for the Cliffs of Moher.

Liscannor is very convenient for the Cliffs of Moher. You can start a cliff walk from there or go to Geuiran’s Path for a shorter walk. €5 per adult entry to the car park is excellent value. Have coffee in the Rock cafe after. Fabulous food and location.

Liscannor is a lovely little spot .

Liscannor is a lovely little spot . We had lunch in hotel and it was lovely. Covid restrictions in place .petrol station had no sanitisers but staff were lovely . The public house beside where we stayed Joseph mchugh is a disaster. No social distancing at all for the locals . They stand at the bar drinking and no a sign of a toasted sandwich. Did not feel safe in there at all . Finished our food and left . We were refused a drink during to restrictions but the locals drank like a normal Saturday night . No masks on staff after 10 30 . This place lowers the tone of a beautiful place . The best place to eat is Vaughan anchor Inn. Omg fine dining in an amazing setting. Covid rules adhered to %100 . Food was amazing and staff very helpful.

The entire place was beautiful! We enjoyed our stay very much. We arrived very late but had all the information we needed prior to access our room. The bed and sheets were also heavenly after a long day! Probably the most comfortable accommodation we've had in Ireland. Great location and our hosts were extremely helpful from accessing the home to departure. The breakfast was also a great touch and the place is so beautifully decorated. We felt very comfortable here. The hosts were helpful in providing local knowledge and tips and tricks!

On our travels around Ireland, this was a little oasis of luxury. Room was fabulous, a real step up from the norm with great view. Jonny was really helpful both before we arrived, with suggestions for visiting Cliffs of Moher, and booking local restaurant. Also really pleased we followed his advice to visit the Burren, which wasn't in our plans, but turned out to be a highlight of our trip. The continental breakfast was a delight, with local and homemade goodies.

Our family had the most enjoyable stay at Bay View House. The house was cosy and comfortable with lovely personal touches. The sea views from the home are breathtaking and the house is nearby Lahinch, Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher. Susanne was so kind and helpful during our stay and even had a fire lighting for us when we arrived. We will definitely be back again and would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable break.

Stunning location and the Rose Meadow Lodge is amazing. It's really cosy and has everything you could need. All the little touches and finishes are beautiful, and no stone has been left unturned. Couldn't recommend highly enough for anyone hoping to explore west Clare. Perfect location. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and she was very helpful and friendly and gave us some local tips which were brilliant. Thanks Jackie.

Great location. Three charming bedrooms with great views, a cozy kitchen and 2 baths! A lovely garden that complimented the sweeping view of the bay. Two of the three bedrooms, as well as the kitchen and sitting room, had views of the charming garden. Susanne, the owner, has thoughtfully provided many of the utensils and supplies needed for self-service cooking and laundry. Susanne is a delight. So friendly and helpful.

Comfortable, quiet location but within 2 minutes walk of restaurant/bars. Excellent location for cliffs of moher costal walk. Liked the furniture. Liscannor much less crowded than Doolin and no traffic problems. Easy parking in the village and large parking space at the appartment.
