Beautiful building, gorgeous property, large room that was very comfortable. I was extremely pleased with my decision to stay at Aran View Country House, and was especially pleased considering that I booked the room just the night before.

The rooms are really clean and well furnished. Beds are really comfy and we enjoyed a good night's sleep. The location is within a short drive to Cliffs of Moher and Doolin Pier. We would return when we are back in Doolin again.
Sarah is an excellent host and recommended dining options.

A very charming village. The people were very friendly.
A very charming village. The people were very friendly. Great pubs and live music (McGann's & McDermott's were the ones we visited). There is a spectacular view of the Cliffs of Moher from the parking lot of the ferry dock; our landlord recommended we go at sunset, and it was amazing! It happened to be high tide and the roaring waves made the scene even more astounding. Of course, the Cliffs are just down the road, and they are one of the best sights in Ireland.

Great music, fun and food.
Great music, fun and food. Excellent quality food in all pubs and hotels. You can walk between pubs but lack of street lights can make this dangerous at night...maybe there could be a store of hivis vests that could be swapped between pubs for those walking.

Got a true feel for this countryside / seaside community.
Got a true feel for this countryside / seaside community. Loved the pubs. Took the scenic cliff side walk to Cliffs of Moher which was spectacular but super muddy. Amazing and majestic. Bus back to town could have been more on time and available.

Doolin is a cute little town and is a great place to stay for close proximity to the Cliffs of Moher. There isn't much to do in Doolin, so I recommend staying there only to spend the night after visiting the Cliffs that afternoon or before visiting the Cliffs the next morning.

Plenty of restaurants and lovely craft shops.
Plenty of restaurants and lovely craft shops. Good atmosphere and traditional Irish music available in the evenings.
Beside the sea and a ferry can take you to see the Aran Islands and the cliffs of Moher.
Location was ideal and room for 2 cars to park outside the house which was great so you didn't have to worry.
House was a lot bigger than we expected and it was spotless.
Great to have towels in the house so we didn't have to supply our own and having washing up liquid and extras in the house was a lovely little touch.
We had dinner in the bar of the hotel and it was fantastic. We were offered breakfast in the hotel the morning after but we left that but it was lovely to have been offered it.
Noel’s Place is a fantastic little spot just up the lane from famous Fisher St and Gus O’Conner’s Pub. It’s very walkable to all the sites around Doolin such as the Doolin Cliff Walk, the Doolin Ferry, and any of the restaurants & shops in Doolin.
The apartment itself is roomy & comfortable with a large bed & a kitchen for self-catering. The hosts have the property well lit with motion-sensing lights so if you’re coming back from the pub late it feels very safe.
Very comfortable apartments with small kitchenettes. I was able to make my own breakfast (I purchased food before arriving in Doolin--I don't think there's a grocery store there.) With a little planning, that's covered. It's a VERY short walk to McDermott's and McGann's pubs--you can check the menus and music and pick where you want to be. The host was very helpful, suggesting a walk right from the apartment to the rocky beach and sending me off with an umbrella.
We stayed in Doolin as we have in the past. It’s a small town with convenient access to the Cliffs of Moher and about a 50 min drive to Galway. The accommodations were good. Clean and comfortable with Wi-Fi. The owner was very responsive via text. There was tea/coffee set up in the room. Breakfast in town was easy. There is a Michelin star restaurant in town named Oar, which was excellent! The owner is very responsive via text.
This was a gem of a find.Staff so friendly and welcoming. Rooms were so comfortable & clean. Our room had an ocean view which was stunning. Breakfast was really nice and the dinner was amazing. It’s worth staying here for the food alone. And to top off the meal a pint of the creamiest pints of Guinness in the bar. This is a must if you a planing a trip near Doolin.
I’ll happily recommend Dubhlinn house without hesitation. Overall a very convenient stay and good value for money. It’s a short walk to anywhere in Doolin that you’d want to go for a pint or a meal. Breakfast was a nice spread + made to order egg/meat options. We were glad we stayed a night in Doolin so we could do a guided hike in the morning.
West haven house definitely had the little touches that I would notice and enjoy . The crockery , bathroom mirror light and amazing art work throughout . We pinned on the world map that I am from Cape Town and Kilkenny and it was a lovely thing to do . Aswell as to see where people has travelled from to enjoy the beauty in Doolin .
Deidre the host was lovely!! Our stay was only for the bed as we arrived later in the day and left early in the morning as had a lot of miles to cover. However it was a comfortable stay, a great location, easy to stroll into town for dinner and a few drinks. If we ever find ourselves back in Doolin would definitely stay again.
Nice variety of bars, cafes, restaurants and outdoor spaces on site. Live music outdoors was a bonus. Modern hotel and clean room. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, and never seemed stressed despite how busy it was. Food was good, and location is close to other bars of Doolin. Plenty of parking available.
The ladies at the front desk were so very accommodating and very friendly.
The food in the hotel’s restaurant was unbelievable delicious. Our waiter had recommended a couple of his favorite dishes. We were blown away as to how good the food was. Thank you for a great experience.
The Fiddle + Bow Hotel exceeded our expectations! The staff were great. Our accommodations were so cute and welcoming. I loved all the personal touches. The restaurant(Russell’s) was amazing. I can’t say enough about this little secret that I’m sharing with everyone!
easy to find - great onsite parking. beautiful view of the ocean. very close to restaurants and pubs in Doolin. wonderfully friendly gentlemen who owned/managed the property. fantastic breakfast. allowed us to check in early.
very friendly and inviting hosts.
lovely artwork and well designed rooms and use of space.
breakfast was outstanding and the most unique menu options we have ever seen at a b&b.
helped recommend a wonderful restaurant for dinner.
The accommodation was nice and close to all Doolin has to offer. The directions were easy to follow and check-in was straightforward. Our host was able to offer suggestions on places to eat dinner and breakfast.
Overall decor was very nice. Grounds around the hotel were beautiful especially the castle. Service was excellent as was the restaurant on the property. Rooms were well appointed and clean/comfortable.
Room was great. Location was a plus. We walked to breakfast (Doolin Cafe both days) and dinner (McDermotts and Russel’s). A big item for me is hot water and water pressure in shower. Both were good
Stayed for one night to attend a wedding at the hotel doolin, so didnt spend much time there.
But hosts were fantastic, so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty, with a good selection on the menu.
Dubhlinn House was a great spot to stay for our one night in Doolin. The B&B was easy to find, it was a short walk to some great pubs, and the homecooked breakfast was really nice.
