The room and terrace were beautiful and spotlessly clean. Lovely fittings and furniture, really comfortable bed and Christina has provided a fridge and glasses and cups for drinks. We feel very lucky the room was available for us, it was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Cinque Terre from the heart of Corniglia.

Arbanella, hotel in Corniglia

Located within 300 metres of Corniglia Beach and 2.4 km of Guvano Beach, Arbanella provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Corniglia.

Our room Mirto had a great "vista mare" view from our little balcony where we could have a snack or drink. No breakfast included in the room rate, but a good variety of cookies replenished daily and a coffeemaker. A bottle of white wine in the fridge, as well as soft drinks & jam. Very nicely decorated room, fresh & neat, seating area for two, nice bathroom. The whole room looked "new", however in an ancient building. Really appreciated this room. Appreciated the clothespins and space for drying our clothes! Extra plus for the extremely nice bathroom. Blå pil = vår balkong. Corniglia is a sweet place. It felt like "going home" when we got back from other towns in the afternoon after our sightseeing trips & hikes. Enough restaurants and bars for a longer stay than our 5 nights! I wished I had time to try more of them. Great reception by Francesca. Thank you!

Corniglia is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting Cinque Terra. It's the middle town and a short train ride to any destination. And, when you return to Corniglia, you are welcomed back to a relaxed, peaceful, quiet environment. The other towns are much more crowded and noisy. Highly recommend!

The town was charming and cozy with beautiful scenery and amazing hiking right out of the village. If you are fairly fit and a light traveler, you will absolutely love it here. If you insist on lugging a huge suitcase and have health or weight issues, you might not be so keen on it.

As one of five (cinque) little villages, Corniglia is located up on a hill accessible by either walking up the road or a lot of stairs (once repaired) or taking the mini-bus-shuttle to and from the train station. Corniglia is the only of the five villages without ferry service. Therefore, it's a bit less over-crowed than the other four villages. Other than that, it features the same narrow alleys with lots of stairs, colorful houses located on steep hills and views of the sea and the surrounding mountains. Corniglia has two mini supermarkets and probabely a little less restaurants and shops then the other villages. Both hikes - to Vernazza as well as to Manarola via the mountain trail (not the coastal trail, which was closed) - are very recommendable. Public terraces with a view - at the end of the main alley - access behind the Oratorio dei Disciplinat di Santa Caterina Recommendations - breakfast/snacks: Á Càneva (outside seating only - across from the San Pietro Church) - breakfast/lunch/dinner/cocktails: Caffè Matteo (inside and outside seating) - dinner: Nunzio & Elia (great Pizza!) - drinks/snacks: Marina di Corniglia Bar (outside seating only; nice sunset loaction down on the way to the sea - blink and you miss it)

What a wonderful town for wandering and seeing incredible views! Great food, beautiful views, great hiking -- and so easy to get to the other Cinqueterre towns from here. More people should stay here. Really gives you an authentic experience of the local culture. Less touristy than the other Cinqueterre towns-- which you can get plenty of if you hop on a 3-6 minute train ride to any of the other towns. Loved the views and gelato.

    The small village is wonderful.

The small village is wonderful. You can get to know the people that live and work there very easily. I DEFINITELY would NOT use Corniglia as a home base to see other Cinque Terre villages unless you love to walk up and down a very big hill or 375 steps.

This is a lovely little town.

This is a lovely little town. Be prepared if you plan to hike between towns. It's a challenge but worth it. The views are spectacular. If you're into walking some more steps down to the water in Corniglia, you will see a cute little restaurant on your left. Plan to have dinner there. It's peaceful and the atmosphere is gorgeous.

This place was incredible! Right in the middle of Corniglia, the host went above and beyond to help us have a great stay! First, she carried our bags up multiple flights of stairs for us. Second, we stayed in the wine room and were gifted a great bottle of wine. Finally, the bed was great, the wifi super strong, and a tv that came with netflix/youtube. Truly an exceptional place that is right in the heart of Cinque Terre. We were able to easily do hikes out of here, get to the train station or it was a 1 min walk to solid restaurants.

Corniglia is the most charming village in Cinque Terre. The apartment is ideally located near the entrance to the village. The apartment was large, comfortable, and very clean. Nadia was a very charming host. She went above and beyond in welcoming us and helping with anything we needed related to our stay in Italy. The apartment was very well appointed and Nadia offered lots of extra amenities- for example beach towels and an umbrella—along with detailed directions to the best local swimming spot!

Everything. Seriously. Corniglia is the place to stay in Cinque Terre as it doesn't have the raging cannot move for tourists aspect of the other towns and still has the best restaurants and bars. The walks from Corniglia to Vernazza and Manorola are gorgeous too. However if you are going to stay in Corniglia, you should really stay with Massimiliano and Madüneta. It's gorgeous, quiet and so well catered for. He and his team are so well accommodating. I cannot recommend this higher.

The room is beautiful (with the best shower I’ve seen in all my trips to Italy), and the property has a rooftop deck with beautiful views of the ocean, available to guests at any time. Breakfast is a la carte, with delicious options and the amazing service owner Gianpaolo gives. I was impressed with the attention to detail and care he showed to every guest. I highly recommend this place for the best Cinque Terre stay!

We liked everything since we arrived. The property has very nice terrace with beautiful views. The kitchen is fully equipped, even with snacks, bottle of wine, water, coffee... The same in the bathroom. The host Cinzia and Roberto are very nice and polite people, cleaned the apartment every day. Big plus for us was parking place. It is a perfect location in Corniglia.

Daa Maduneta was conveniently located in Corniglia. We drove, and there was private parking available at 10euro a day. The room was very spacious and the private patio that we got gave us an excellent and breathtaking view of the sea. Ristorante La Posada located right next to the hotel serves excellent food and wine! Will definitely be back!
