The hotel was in the perfect location, 5 mins away from a big mosque and also few nice restaurants close by.
The hotel leads onto a private beach, the staff were super helpful, they always find the most suitable deck chairs of your choice.
The swimming pools were very clean and the staff were also very helpful, they turn on the Jacuzzi in the indoor pool whenever you wish to use it.
Most importantly for us was that we were allowed to wear long shorts (For Men) and Burkini for female, which a lot of the hotels in Tunisia do not allow. This is one of the main reasons why we chose this hotel.
The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable, the food was good with lots of choices. We only booked breakfast included so we got to try out the local restaurants, however we also paid separately to try the buffet dinner which was very tasty with lots of choices of mains and desserts.
The staff in the reception, the restaurants, were all very helpful and spoke English well.
The Gym faces the sea, we worked out every morning before a buffet breakfast.
The gym equipment was a bit outdated but ok.
The hotel also has a spa, which we used, had full Hammam, massage and facial. Felt amazing. Very relaxing stay.

This is a resort style hotel situated close to the beach. If you are into a resort style atmosphere, where you are picked up and dropped off by taxi, and everything at your beck and call, then this place and the location will suit you. If you want to explore you can walk along the beach and promenade to the city centre but have comfortable shoes on. Definitely a lot of British tourists holidaying here. 😉

We really liked the historic part of town - the Ribat is beautiful (with a great guide!). The archaeology museum is definitely worth a visit. The souk was an enjoyable pace and you didn't feel hassled. The restaurants were good. Taxis were cheap and easy to find.
City could do with a big clean up and shows clear signs of suffering financially, but that didn't take away from our trip.

I found Sousse to be a great place to visit if you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. I was pleased to discover that the local people were friendly and welcoming, which made my trip more enjoyable and memorable.
One of the highlights of my trip was having a hire car, which allowed me to explore the surrounding areas and discover hidden gems such as the castle. It was fascinating to learn that the castle was the location for the popular movie Monty Python's Life of Brian. This made my trip even more exciting and memorable.
However, it's worth noting that if you're looking for a bustling city with lots of activities to do and places to see, Sousse may not be the best choice. From my experience, Sousse is more of a laid-back destination where you can unwind and relax.
Overall, I had a positive experience visiting Sousse and enjoyed exploring the surrounding areas. Thank you for taking the time to read my review!

The area is beautiful.
The area is beautiful. There are so many activities to do there. The transportation system is excellent and very affordable. You can walk almost everywhere really, but if you are lazy like me, you can either use your phone to order a Bolt taxi or just flag one down on the road.

I used Sousse as a base to travel to other parts of Tunisia by train and car. If you wanted a beach / resort hotel to just chill then this would be an excellent choice. If you wanted more exploration of the history and culture then Sousse is a little limited and I think would "do" all the local things in 2/3 days.

Sousse has a lot of history for a not so big town, walks around the winding streets medina is a real pleasure, forget the main way, try following the walls enclaves where people live and go shopping. There are ateliers shops there and you can see what their projects are. Visit the archeological museum, it is housed in a nice building and has a few interesting treasures. Walk on the beach, it is very relaxing.
Literally everything ! nothing to complain about !

The resort was amazing and clean. The staff were nice and welcoming; everyone of them was smiling at you and willing to help. The prices were low compared to the service and the sea view we had. It will definitely be my go-to hotel in Sousse. Big thanks to the amazing staff!
Very nice cozy hotel, the staff were really friendly and helpful. The manager, Mr.Mohamed was really friendly and attentive to all our needs. There is also a restaurant/bar in the hotel and their food was good.
Highly recommended if you plan to go to Sousse.
Front desk was helpful, especially Haroun who helped me greatly; excellent breakfast with so many Tunisian and international options; loved the fresh squeezed orange juice at breakfast; comfortable bed, complimentary large water bottle provided daily
A wonderful hotel in the old medina of Sousse. We left the car near the Grand Mosquée. Despite the central location, it was very quiet. We loved the blue walls and the excellent breakfast.
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Tunisia!
