Location is remote, but easy to access with a car- we liked the area a lot, as one could have an evening stroll through the fields. The owners are are very kind and had a lot of toys for our kid. Breakfast and dinner was offered, food was great and a lot! The room was nice and clean.

Vasiliki and his lovely mother were the best hosts we could ask for!
They helped us immediately every question or things we needed, including cooking's product like olive oil (which is definitely not obvious!)

I had a wonderful experience at guest house Luna. The apartment is lovely and so is everybody working there! It is a bit tricky to find on your own, so I would recommend going to the Luna Store just outside the train station. They helped me out a lot with activities around Virpazar and gave me plenty of tips for other destinations in Montenegro too. The house was very clean when I arrived, the beds very comfortable and the wifi worked well all the time.

This place is outstanding. The building, the room, the grounds, the surroundings, the owner Marko: it couldn't have been better. Marko is always willing to help. When I texted him that I didn't know our time of arrival because our car broke down on the way to Prevalis, he instantly offered to come by to help us. During our stay, he gave some great tips for hikes and the tour we did with him on the lake was also a highlight. The wine is also very tasty. And before I forget: the water in the shower has the perfect temperature ;) Thanks Marko, we created some great memories thanks to you!

The most favourite spot was the acommodation itself, his hospitality and the lake itself. I ate in a reastaurant, in the house and on the beech.
Everywhere was perfect and delicious.
It is easy to get to Virpazar, both from Sutomore and Podgorica.
There is nothing to avoid, everything was great.

I thought the lake was over-rated.
I thought the lake was over-rated.
We enjoyed a morning kayaking (about 9km) and saw some water birds but I have had much better kayaking experiences elsewhere in pristine environments.
In places the water was smelly, I certainly wouldn't swim in it. There was also rubbish floating in various places. Nice from a distance - climb the short track to the monastary and take in a more distant view.
The township didn't seem particularly special - a base for boat and kayak trips wand a few restaurants.

An incredible place if you like wildlife and easy walking.
An incredible place if you like wildlife and easy walking. A great place to relax for a few days. Lovely lanes and villages to walk looking for tortoises, snakes and lizards. A couple of nice, medium walks off the lanes.
The people are very friendly and can speak pretty good English and like a bit of banter.
Also has some nice relaxed bars and restaurants, no hard sell.

Virpazar is a very small village - a supermarket, a restaurant by the river and one more close to supermarket. The reason to go there is to sail on the lake - must be gordious in the summer - we were there in beginning of april - a bit chilly and not a lot of birds. But we took a boat trip and visited an old church and said hello to the munks from a nearby convent.

The main attraction is lake skadar, and it’s even more beautiful than pictures I’ve seen on the internet. I’ve never seen so much natural beauty before! You have to book a boat tour in order to truly experience the lake in all its glory.

Very small town, bridge is the main attraction and you constantly get hustled into boat trips round the lake. One of the local restaurants wouldn't let us use the toiled under the pretence of no water, but it is OK for them to use it and serve the food. We have been told they do it often so their toilets wouldn't get dirty. Anyway we left for another restaurant Rostiljada outside of the Virpazar and we were not disappointed.
Well, if u are not going to book this place, you will loose a lifetime experience of meeting fantastic hosts - Sneza And Vasko greeted us with absolutely amazing attitude - they prepared a welcome gift for us, them took as for a little trip, them told us stories about virpazar, montenegro and history. We decided to go on a boat trip with their son in the morning and it was Best experience ever! Meeting people like this is rare , please consider wisely your stay and definetely book this place :) we are definetely coming back!!!
Marko is one of the best hosts we have ever met in many years of travelling around the world. His nature cottage is a really special place, overlooking the mountains around Skadar Lake. Great value for money. Marko has excellent tips for hidden jewels in the area. His sister Marina organizes excellent boat tours on the lake with lots of information on culture, history and bird watching. We rented the 2 studios as a family of 5 persons. Don’t forget to taste the local wine and go for this place for an amazing stay at Virpazar!
Wonderful experience staying with this family. Everyone was so kind and helpful, and the food was plentiful and delicious. We also really enjoyed the homemade red wine, and the rakija. We did a private boat tour with the owner, which was fantastic and well worth the cost. I think it’s important to allow plenty of time to drive to the location from Virpazar because the roads are so narrow, and watch for places to pull over in case you need to back up to let someone pass. All in all, a very memorable and terrific visit.
The hosts were exceptionally kind and wellcoming. At our arrival they invited us to have a drink of their homemade grappa with them and left some homemade wine and grappa for us to try in the fridge. In the morning their son took us on 2 hr trip on the lake where we saw both kormorans and pelikans. Upon our return to Jocker we had amazing breakfast with coffee and dessert. Never during our travels have we experienced such hospitality! Absolutely recommend this place if you ever wish to visit the Skadar Lake.
Marko is the kindest and most hospital host we'd ever had! He will do the best to make your stay unforgettable. He arranged a boat trip for us, recommend some places to eat, told us about Montenegro's history and his winery. We got to taste his wine, don't want to spoil, but it is really good. He is really helpful and the place is cozy and clean. Totally recommend this place if you want to visit Virpazar and lake Skadar.
Perfectly located for exploring Virpazar and Lake Skadar. The host was very helpful and supported us in booking excursions and activities. The room was spacious and modern and included all of the facilities/equipment you would need (including a balcony!). Great stay, great accommodation, great host.
Located near Virpazar, 2 minutes drive from it. Perfect place for relaxing, enjoying nature with beautiful scenery and nice little pool. Host were great. Ask the host Milos for all tricks and tips. If you want beaches and sea, sea is 30 minutes away. You also have some beaches on the lake.
Super cute and comfy cabin. A warm welcome from the host (written note on the fence) and the sweet cat who is very hungry. Warm, nice couch, kitchen and beds. Near the harbor of Virpazar where you can do the boat tour on the beautiful Skadar lake.
Our Journey at Mond Apartment was amazing. The room was good and the place and the view into the mountains is incrédible. Only 10 minutes from virpazar.
Our host was really kind with us, everything was perfect
Thank you Again

House is really comfortable, with spacoius rooms and beautiful garden. All windows have antimosquitos nets which is excelent. It's really peacfull, but still just 10 min walk from all the restaurants and stores in Virpazar.
A gorgeous apartment right in the center of Virpazar. the apartment has everything you need. I loved the full kitchen. I had such a nice relaxing stay here and would highly recommend. short taxi ride to Podgorica airport.
Cozy apartment right on the square in Virpazar with convenient self check in and a very kind host. The apartment is small but functional with everything expected inside and it's nice to stay in a building with history.
Everything was perfect! We were amazed with the whole place. Marko was very kind and helped us a lot. After boat tour, dinner was delicious. We recommend this place and it’s the best choice for staying at Virpazar.
We stayed for one night and had a great time. Aleksander and his grandparents are very nice and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend staying here while traveling to Virpazar.
All, funny, amazing, peacefully environment and incredible staff(it's a family), feel like and home.
Tasty options for dinner (normal, vegetarian and veggie options are available)
The apartment was very clean. The lady was also very nice and welcoming. It is located a bit outside Virpazar, just a short 15 min walk to the village center.
