Lovely, clean, comfortable stay in Hoquaim by Aberdeen. Parking was directly outside my room. There were USB and electrical sockets by the bed. The hosts were knowledgeable on the area. The wiFi worked well and was secure.

It was an older place and there were some structural issues: the room floor was uneven.

It was an older place, maybe late 1940’s but was well maintained. There were some good ornamentation: colorful plants, sculpture, painting in the room. The couple who owned the place were warm and friendly, eager to please.

This place has absolutely great location as a starting point to your roadtrip to Olympic national park. The service is good, rooms are clean and new owners are going to change some things to make the motel even better.

Didn’t know that you have to ask for a hairdryer, there are none in the rooms, they need to be borrowed from the registration office.

The rooms are very small and the building is old, but the owners just bought the property and are already making improvements. The things that bothered me the most were the many nail and tack holes in the walls, limited number of wall outlets, and the greasy feeling I got from the carpet. I would have preferred if the curtains had been a little longer and more substantial, maybe an extra black out or room darkening layer would have helped. The interior decor and paint need an update. The bathroom gets a substantial amount of road noise from the highway but the bedroom was relatively quiet. A few convenience stores were within walking distance but no restaurants.

The new owners are delightful and accommodating. Happy to chat and recommend local day trips and restaurants if you ask but overall very respectful of guest privacy. Rooms, bedding, and towels were some of the cleanest I have ever seen in a hotel. Comfy mattress. Good coffee. Water pressure and temperature were decent and consistent. We had to deal with unexpected car trouble and ended up staying much longer than anticipated but the weekly rates were more than reasonable. I enjoyed the eclectic outdoor decorations, plants, and covered sitting/smoking/cookout section. It felt very cozy, like we were staying with friends. Surrounding neighborhood on edge of town was quiet and peaceful, never felt personally unsafe or worried about my car, several security cameras were visible around the lot and building exterior. I was very pleased overall with the value for the price, would especially recommend for single travelers or couples.

I was welcomed by the owner, Ms. Jackie, who just recently took over the motel. She's such a wonderful person. Very accommodating and helpful. Gave some suggestions about places to visit in the surrounding area. Even though the room/place is kind of outdated, it was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. After a long day exploring the Olympic Peninsula, it was definitely a great place to end the day and get some rest.

The old units are small and outdated but the price makes up for it. The owners are updating the rooms to be newer and fresher. Their plans are gonna be amazing to see.

The new owners are the best owners/managers that you could ever meet. They have become our friends in such a short time. The owners Mrs. Jackie and Mr. Martin could not have been more accommodating. They bent over backwards to make us feel at home. The accomodations are old but they have awesome plans to update as they just took over operations. While we were there they already started updating many amenities. If you have any problems, they will make it right. Just talk to them. They really do care. The cleaning staff are incredible and make every effort to make your stay as clean and comfortable as possible. We will be back!!!!

It’s a quirky place. Odd colors and art work, mismatched bathroom tile and carpet squares. But it has what is important…clean room and bathroom, good towels and a very comfortable bed. We slept for 10 hours! The lady at check in was very cordial.

Room paint needs updated, hot / cold for shower is backwards so hot is cold and cold is hot at least in room 109. No clock in the room.

Quaint little place. Nice location. Great price. Clean room, fridge, microwave, good size TV, desk, table and chairs, soft shower towels, comfy beds with lots of pillows. Very nice. 16 miles from Ocean Shores. Pets allowed, extra $15.
