How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was a retro TV ,which is quite funny ,never have I ever stayed in hotel with that ,buttt it worked so was good 😊
Couldn't fault it very good ,and close to the beach ⛱️

Location is excellent, beach is a minute away, short walk to Market Village, Tops and 7 eleven and lots of places to eat nearby. Staff are so lovely and friendly, always have a smile and a hello, really enjoyed our stay.

Bath towels are a bit rough and "brown " color...awful color for towels. As I said previously, the breakfast buffet is very good, but the coffee is very bad. Insonorisation is non existant if you have a room that has direct access with the next one by a door as I had.
Quiet place and good location, only 3 minutes to the beach. Very clean and good cleaning staff as well. Good selection of international TV channels. Good AC. 2 bottles of water daily. Very good breakfast with fresh fruit ( except for the coffee). Personal is very nice and helpful.

TV picture not that great, but didn’t watch much anyway.

This property is close to the beach and is quite cozy. The staff is really welcoming and helpful. They helped us rent a taxi to tour Hua Hin as well. The place is very comfortable and it's quite around.

The internet problem needs sorting and they need to purchase some decent white wine.
We stayed for 17 nights at this hotel in January. The first thing to mention is how happy and helpful the staff were. We had a room with very poor internet so they moved us to a better room at no extra cost. There is a buffet breakfast option which we used once and it was fine, we were at our not eating much stage at the time, with plenty of choice. There are a couple of taxis parked within 20m and on the main road only 50m away there is a tuk tuk rank. Market Village is only 100m away, with a lift and walkway to get you across the busy main road and there is a Topps mini market even closer. The beach is only 100m away so it is an excellent location for a hotel, surrounded by several others which all tend to cater for Scandinavians. All in all we enjoyed our stay at the Thipurai hotel.

Some rooms have connecting doors; first room I had, I could hear the person next door which was disturbing as he talked very loudly into his phone.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean, comfortable and in a lovely location close to the beach. Excellent value for money.

The internet speed is a problem. They need to invest in some decent white wine.
We only had the buffet breakfast once as we don't often have breakfast but it was very nice at a decent price. We couldn't get very good internet in our bedroom so they kindly moved us into a bigger room in the annex next door at no extra cost. The owners, staff and cleaners were amazingly friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Scandinavians tend to use this and the immediately surrounding hotels for long periods in the winter so the staff are well geared up for this and most speak good English. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. It is located almost opposite the Market Village just off the main road so it is very easy to get about town. There are 2 taxis outside of the hotel all day, a tuk tuk stop 50m away and the main bus routes all stop opposite Market Village 100m away every 15 minutes. All the buses, tuk tuks and taxis are very cheap. They have a laundry onsite with a 24 hour turnaround which is an excellent service. They also have a decent sized swimming pool onsite. We stayed for 17 days and were made to feel very welcome

You hear a lot of what's going on in your neighbours' rooms. The place is not exactly soundproof.
Close to the beach in a quiet side street. Decent breakfast buffet. Nice staff. The rooms are fully okay, no luxury, but do the job.

The only thing I thought was a question is not having safe deposit boxes in every room as security is a important subject.
Being only five minutes from the beach. Also very helpful staff. Plus good value for money as the hotel is in a prime location.
