Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Arab EmiratesNothing not to like about the property however limited options for dining outside of the hotel besides a few small restaurants a short walk from the hotel however a short taxi ride will take you to nearby area with more nightlife. Restaurants within the hotel were very nice.
Everything was beautiful, in a peaceful and secluded area with beautiful outlook over the bay. Rooms were very spacious and the outdoor area with daybed looking over the water was a great touch and nice to relax in the afternoon and watch the sunset. Pool area also had great views with plenty of day beds. Breakfast was so fresh and many offerings.

SingaporeBeach nearby was a bit dirty and crowded but is not hotel’s fault.
Santorini like feel (of course a bit far from it) - nice sea view rooms and facilities, great food at restaurant (despite some negative reviews - we had half board and were happy), great staff!

Saudi ArabiaOnly one elevator 😕 And to access the higher floors you should use the stairs When you book you room if you are with kids I would recommend a higher floor, maybe consider sending your request prior to booking There is no kids playroom area but honestly the beach is just few steps away
A nice place to stay away from the center. The rooms were spacious and beautiful The terrace has a beautiful view There is a direct access to the beach Close by to a lot of yummy local restaurants

AustraliaOn-site restaurants were quite pricey, though food quality was good. Pool is relatively small, though with the beach being so good it didn't really bother us.
Amazing resort, location is perfect overlooking the beach. Room was large and comfortable, with private lounge giving great views (though could have had more shade). The Nai Harn beach itself is one of the better beaches I've been to (clean water, relatively calm). The hotel had a butler permanently stationed at the beach to provide towels, chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, kayak, etc. (all complimentary) which made a beach day super fun and easy. Snorkelling was surprisingly good (lots of fish). Breakfast buffet was amazing with a great range of options, one of the better hotel breakfasts I've had. Overall a great resort experience.

The breakfast and the staff of the restaurant are exceptional. Also the Bar or cafe on top is really nice place to sit on.

Compared to Patong this place is a paradise. Picturesque setting, spacious rooms (we had the royal suite though), friendly staff. The Nai Harn beach is clean and not overcrowded.

United KingdomWe stayed at the Nai Harn for 3 nights in April and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. It was a quiet end to our vacation, and it did not disappoint. We spent our days exploring the area, going to the beach, which is right next to the hotel. You can get towels, chairs etc, from 7am, but the beach butler arrives at 9am, which is when you get the kayaking equipment. It was lovely kayaking early morning, seeing the marine life and corals by the rocks. They had all the amenities needed in the rooms and the daybed outside was lovely to relax on in the evenings. They also had complimentary drinks and fruits in the room when we arrived which was a lovely touch! The Reflections Bar has nice seating for photos and a great view! The breakfast here was easily the best I have ever had in any hotel. They focus on the quality of dishes rather than quantity and it was all the small touches that impressed me. They had sugarcane juice that was freshly cut and extracted in their farms daily. They had 4 types of vitality fresh juices every morning, homemade cheese, homemade sausages, and the list goes on. The staff were all super friendly and always on hand to help with anything. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a peaceful, secluded holiday.

MalaysiaIt takes approximately 1.5 hours (with traffic) to get to the airport.
If you're seeking luxury and pure relaxation, this place will definitely meet your expectations. Our room was excellent, and the view was spectacular. Since the location is quite remote, the hotel is equipped with everything you need (though at a higher cost), so you don’t have to leave the premises. You wouldn't want to anyway, given how beautiful the hotel is and the stunning views it offers.

The hotel location is superb! It locates nest to Nai Harn beach, which was so beautiful and clean. We visited this hotel 3 years ago and we were so impressed, so we decided to make another reservation for this summer. The staffs were so nice and they upgraded our room! Also the breakfast was extraordinary!

SingaporeDespite having great healthy options on the menu we found meals arrived soaked in oil, dressings and salt (or MSG). Even after clear request not to use any salt (MSG) or to add any dressings or oils the dishes still arrived with unwanted stuff added. We sent back two meals which were not edible due to the amount of salt (MSG). Did I mention "MSG" - the staff claim that it is not used in the hotels kitchen but I highly doubt it, as we both had reactions.
It's a beautiful hotel and couldn't be better located for a beach holiday. Great staff, great facilities with a very relaxing vibe and evening live entertainment. However, the cooking of meals was not up to the standard.
