I was there to go scuba diving and got picked up at 08.20 both mornings. There was nowhere to get breakfast at that time so had to settle for a bakery near to the boat area 10 mins away by van.

The accommodation complex is nicely set out with a reception bar/area that also has a pool table. The rooms are in the huts behind the bar area and are spaced really nicely so as not to be overlooked by other guests. Because of a mix up the owner upgraded me to the large family room. Thank you 😊 The bathroom was a little dated but David, the new owner said he needed to do work on these. I only used the pool area once, but it was very nice.

Staff were excellent, nothing was a problem for them. Rooms were clean and tidy. Location was quiet, but easy accessible to a nice small beach area near the mecure Hotel and to some good small restaurants for cheap eating of Thai and western food.

From the moment I arrived I was warmly welcomed by the owners David an JJ. I got a free upgrade and my bungalow was beautiful. Very clean, with toilet, shower, refrigerator, microwave, good wifi... Just perfect. The owners helped with everything I needed and gave me great tips where to go on the island. Cocoon also has a nice little swimming pool and a fantastic restaurant with very tasteful Thai and French food. The restaurant is worth visiting even if you don't stay in cocoon. Also worth mentioning are the moments when I took an "aperitif" while having nice chats, playing pool or a game of "pétanque". I love this place and will definitely come back.

Nothing at all

Everything went well! The owner is very nice and helpful. He gives good advice to make your stay in even better. Bungalows are clean, the area is calm, and the place is well located and good value for money. The cook is wonderful and proposes delicious Thai dishes everyday. All in all I had a blast! I highly recommend Cocoon if you plan to visit Ko Chang. I'll be back for sure.

The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. There is aircon, hot shower, and a fridge. The owner is super friendly. The location is also quiet but have everything you need. We will back here again next time when we visit Koh Chang 🙂

Nice Bungalows, quite and peacefull area, have nice little pool, the owner is very friendly, they have bar and chill area. Next to the property there's really good little local restaurant, and a really good massage place. Close to laundry place as well. While you are in tropical Island prepare mosquito spray 😃

Overall, not a walkable area. Cars and bikes do not share the road well, making it an unpleasant experience. St. Tropez was great though!

The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the AC was brilliant! There were excellent restaurants close to the bungalow and Lonely Beach was just over the hill a 30 min walk if you want to brave the roads, or a short taxi.

I wish i could stay here longer.

I stayed at St.Tropez for 3 nights with a friend, and we both loved it. The owner/staff are really nice and helpful. If you like peace, you would love this place. The bed, the pillows, and the blanket are comfortable. I slept very well here. Although it may be pretty far from the pier , I think it's worth coming because i could find everything i need around here, and it's only 3 minute-ride from my favorite beach, Lonely Beach. Also, the location is not far from Bang Bao, where the fishermen village is located. You will find a nice beach with crytal clear water that is good for snorkeling as well. If I go back to Koh Chang again, I will definitely come back to this place.

You get a lot of value for the price you pay. Spacious and clean bungalows, nice little balcony to enjoy your coffee or tea in the morning. The owners are great and very helpful. You can also play billiards and have a drink at the bar. The stay is highly recommended. Just know that you have to walk a bit to the lonely beach and the clubs/bars which was fine for us. Just ask for a scooter and the owner will manage the rest for you in case you want to explore the entire island.

Tons of mosquitoes in the room (a bug zapper was included in the room), exposed wiring, ants crawling all over the shower. Space was very small, and the door had a 1cm gap which allowed heat and bugs into the room. Location is quite far from the typical tourist areas and beaches.

We booked 5 nights here, but did not even stay for one after walking in. Owner was very kind and gave us our money back and said he is planning to renovate during the rainy season (2024). Hopefully this occurs.

The bed was extremely hard, the bed sheets synthetic and old, and the whole bungalow was rather run down. It was not a place I felt like hanging out. Some other bungalows were in the process of refurbishment, so probably I just got unlucky.

David and his female colleague are very friendly and helpful hosts.
