Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThe food and ambience, setting are to die for. The shuttle bus was also good seeing as I had no car or motorcycle.
The area and setting are beautiful. The facilities are aging. The food and hospitality are excellent. All in all a good experience. I would recommend 😀

AustraliaPool too far from rooms, no bathrooms nearby. All rooms have only SALT Water showers! Not suitable for people with mobility issues...many steep ,uneven steps. Very isolated and shuttle only takes you to a nearby beach, not shops. Road into the property appalling!!
Very friendly staff. Food tasty. Views, views, views!

AustraliaWe loved everything! If you're very allergic (as I am), I recommend a powerful insect repellent to stay by the beach area on late afternoon.
We decided to get back to Phuket once again just to stay at this place again and for longer. So peaceful, with great rooms, and the kindest staff. There is a private beach to the hotel, super cute, and accessible. The hotel offers some lounge chairs facing the beach as well. We ordered room service and the food was amazing - on top of the very friendly staff who brought it over to us. Amazing place!

United KingdomTheir restaurant did not have fresh coconut, and the massage/spa was a bit pricey compared to the nearest massage shop in Nai harn area. It would be better if I could drive a car or ride a scooter for flexible hang out.
I liked the breakfast in general. Their private beach has a good amount of beach chairs for the guests as well as good access from the room. I was staying in the beachfront room, it was spacious including bathroom, good facilities and amenities like extra beach towels for guests. The staff are always kind and smiley.

Our overall experience at this wonderful, layed back resort was exceptional. The secluded location and beautiful private beach set this apart from all the others in the area. The staff are very friendly and eager to help with any requests. The restaurant boasts a great variety of both traditional Thai food as well as alternatives, top quality, and reasonable prices. Again, the staff are awesome, especially Chupchup and Dom 🙏. Great interaction and cheerful banter makes one very relaxed and comfortable. The resort is a little 'out of the way', but justifiably so, I recommend hiring a scooter to maximise one's experience and stay. There are many hire businesses in the immediate area. The entire resort is very clean and tidy with a beautiful rustic semi-jungle feel about it. The pool is also a tranquil bonus with a great view. Anybody looking for a quiet escape, yet only 10 minutes from Na Harn beach and 25 minutes to Patong, this resort is the place to stay. I can not recommend a more pleasant and fulfilling experience, Baan Krating is awesome.

United StatesIt's a little off the beaten path which means that getting to and from the bigger public beaches can be more challenging that you might expect but if you call a taxi they will get there sooner or later. Also the hotel's private beach is enjoyable but a little small.
The room and view were excellent. Staff was helpful and cheerful.

AustraliaReally wasn't anything i didn't like. But if you're going for a garden view cabin, as we did, be aware there are quite a few steep steps to climb. I'm no spring chicken, but still managed okay. If climbing stairs is a problem for you though, you might need to pay extra for beach view cabin with less steps.
Great beach, lovely snorkelling. Breakfast always good. Other meals also very good. Especially the baked Pineapple with seafood. Best bit about this resort is the private beach, so no huge crowds. Thats is why we chose this resort and we weren't disappointed.

United KingdomIt’s out on it’s own so if you want big nightlife and places to walk to then it might not be for you. There was also some building work next door, though I barely noticed it myself, you might notice more if you were closer to it I guess. Can I suggest getting water coolers for everyone to refill their own bottles to save on plastic?
This was my first stop arriving in Thailand, and it was a perfect home for 4 days. The rooms (I was in the main brick buildings - not the bungalows) were really lovely with massive beds and fab bathrooms. There was a big balcony and a shower outside for after swimming. I loved that I could snorkel right off the beach - there’s not a lot of places that you can do this in Phuket. The restaurant staff were lovely and made me a different vegetarian meal each night. I also had a wonderful massage each day. The rest of the staff were all lovely and super helpful. I’d definitely recommend if you want somewhere peaceful, chill and totally relaxing!

AustraliaOccasionally had trouble getting taxis to drop off to the resort because the road is narrow, steep and in poor condition. The walk is about 13min if you’re fit and don’t mind a bit of a moderately challenging walk. It’s walking distance from Nai Harn beach where there are some restaurants and taxis. Great swimming pool but because of the construction site located literally next door super noisy.
Quiet, remote, relaxed away from the hussle and bustle. Located in a jungle. Very comfortable villas, small private beach ideal for snorkelling. Lovely and helpful staff. Nice food at the restaurant that is reasonably priced.

SingaporeSome construction was going on to be aware of, but the only issue we had was noisy bikes parking outside the chalets at all hours of the morning instead of in the parking area. This needs to be addressed by the resort.

GermanyThe only odd and unnecessary aspect I found was the 60 euros deposit at check-in. Throughout a month of traveling in Asia, this was the first time such a request was made.
I had an incredible stay in Phuket! The resort boasts excellent facilities, a cozy and beautiful private beach, and a refreshing swimming pool. The dining experience was delightful, with fair prices at the restaurant. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

ThailandThe breakfast was basic, small buffet; would have loved a coffee machine for lattes or cappuccinos. The menu options were small so our meals felt repetitive since we stayed there for 4 days. Would love to see some additions to the menu, like a la carte options and more desserts.
Location, tranquil and relaxing resort, clean grounds, snorkel off the beach, drink & food delivery to the beach, beautiful rooms (new building), lovely pool, friendly and helpful staff.

United KingdomAverage food, a bit same ish most days but fresh and mostly ok. Bed was like concrete so difficult to sleep at times. Also sun beds down by their tiny beach were sad and screwed together so no recline or mattress. Put us off.going down there. Not much to moan about really so just a little extra in these areas could transform this place. On the whole enjoyed our stay.
Beautiful location nestled in the woods. Beach down the hill or shuttle bus to beach about 1km away. Nice basic room with all we needed. Staff very happy, friendly and most helpful.
