We did not ask for room cleaning nor did they have clear instructions to display "Don't Disturb" on the screen so when we wanted to sleep in, especially since we had a long drive with our toddler, a housekeeper kept on ringing the doorbell and woke us up.

The hotel was nice. We loved their details for safety and precautions such as the foot pedals for the elevators and digital scans using room cards. Digital buttons for lighting and the TV was also nice. It was also near the Chinese Embassy and a few good restaurants.

Breakfast was normally cold, as they always left the warmrs open, defeating the purpose of having them. Difficulty in get a proper hot Tea, because the staff were just used to dealing with coffee. These points were given to the manager on an internal survey they were doing. So things did improve after our complaints

I’ve stayed in different hotels & every time I check out, if I leave something in the room (even the smallet bottle like a yogurt) they’d report it if I’ll leave it or take it. Now, when I got back, I realized I left my bottle of wash in the toilet. It’s a bit disappointing for me for that point. Other than that, place is good, clean, convenient location and staff was polite. 😊

I am not so techy so i have slight difficulty in the switches in the room. But once you get accustomed to it, it is just as easy.

The breakfast was not included in the booking that I made so it is a bit pricey in my end. But the food is sumptuous. The pool is what my son enjoyed best and i am delighted by the kiddie meal that they serve.

My only issue with this hotel is the front desk staff due to their poor communication. They’re slow in responding any requests especially emails, including urgent maintenance which happened on my first day. A simple reply acknowledging receipt of emails would be helpful. This is vital especially when room phones were not working due to wifi connection issues & you can only communicate through emails at night.

The Sky View Restaurant located on the roof top where breakfast was served has an amazing view of Davao Samal island. This is my favourite place in this hotel. Not only because of the view but also the place is clean, the staff in the restaurant were helpful, friendly and they’re always smiling. Plus the breakfast menu was good food and tasty.

The swimming pool is in a different building and was super chlorinated.the small bar fridge in the room struggled to keep anything cold, and the shower room flooded due to poor drainage

I didnt like the sink water spraying the way it did. I needed to shave with a safety razor and water was getting everywhere and there was not enough pressure to clean the razor out. Also, shower head gasket came loose and water began spraying from the side of the shower head.

I loved the rolling shower door. Bathroom was modern and overall pretty fantastic. Also, an employee at the ground floor took our bags directly to our room at check-in.

A lot of the facilities are closed - spa, jacuzzi. No poolside loungers. Ridiculous 500% markup on poolside beer. Ridiculously small pours of bad wine.

Good hotel for this price range. Everything you would expect in terms of the room.
