The shower is very bad built, with water flowing out from the basin and we spent time by cleaning out the water and using extra towels for it. We feel also hotel staff is very junior and many of them can’t really answer questions in the right way, probably more training and upskilling is required before they work with customers.

Very good location, we arrived by Flixbus and the stop is just outside of the hotel, and with the train station opposite it is very good connected with all places. There’s a big shopping area next to the station and center of Utrecht is also very close to walk to. The rooms were big and nice, and the hotel was clean. Value for money is better for this type of place vs staying in Amsterdam, but depends on the dates you choose as well.

The room was very nice and bright and had a beautiful view of the city. The beds were very comfortable, the staff was super friendly and they even surprised us with chocolate as it was my birthday. That was so lovely, thank you!

I loved my stay at the NH Utrecht, both at the hotel close to the railways station and at the branch in the old city centre. Both are in great locations and I loved that there is a coffee machine and kettle in the rooms, and the fridge too! I will be back!

There was a problem with the cards, we had to go to the reception 3 times to reactivate in order to access our room.

The shower is poorly despite water spilling all over the bathroom floor. You need to put a towel down as a barrier to stop most of it. The shower was excellent th.

Room was clean and spacious and there was a fantastic view on the 12th floor. Location is great, right across from the railway station.

I emailed ahead to request a top floor room as I'd heard that the views were great but got 5th floor of 18, I asked to change but they said there wasn't a higher room available. There was always a slight drain smell from the bathroom on entering the room.

Great location by Utrecht train station, by not having our room cleaned we had a free drinks voucher every day. Shower was amazing.

Complaints about clogged bathroom drains not being repaired. So every time I shower it floods. On the first night, there was a frightening incident, at 3 am we were awakened by the sound of the fire alarm, so we had to go down the emergency stairs from the 13th floor. We had to wait outside in the cold for about an hour before we could return to our room, and the next morning we were only given a letter explaining that the alarm went off because one of the guests had set off the fire alarm.

The location is near utrecht train station. The rooms are spacious and clean.

A little pricey

The staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel was clean and breakfast was very good with a variety of choices to suit all tastes. We liked the ‘go green’ option of opting out of having the room serviced and being rewarded with a free drink from the bar.

The towels were never changed, instead they were folded back dirty every day. The window can not be open and the AC is noisy. The shower head wasn't working properly.

Big room, comfortable beds and fast check in and check out. Good location, right next to the train station.

Overall, excellent. The 3am “false fire alarm” and evacuation was a bit of a shock, but these things happen if you travel often enough.

Comfortable, modern, “industrial chic”. Lots of options from a generous breakfast buffet. Overnight parking for bicycle a plus.
