Shuttle bus from local train station would have been perfect. Don't advertise it as an Airport Hotel, it is an Hotel within travelling distance of an Airport.

Very warm welcome, very clean room, no noise from other guests, best bed after a week in Germany and Holland. Staff could not have been friendlier or helpful. Especially Natalia and Maria, both went out of their way to make sure everything was to our satisfaction.

It's located in the middle of a building site and was initially different to find but all good once we found it.

It's a very good budget friendly hotel with clean rooms that are well looked after. Staff are friendly. The breakfast was good - a continental breakfast with coffee, croissants, meats, cheese, fruit juice, toast, cereal, fruit salad and yogurt. It was good for a budget hotel not far from central amsterdam - we had to take a 20 minute train ride from hoofddorp each day to Amsterdam Central.

During our stay they replaced the television sets with a new model. After that there didn't seem to be as many channels but this has probably been rectified. One disappointment was finding that the hotel was fully booked for the time we wanted to stay after our travels.

We've stayed here before and had no hesitation in staying again. There is still a lot of building work going on in the area but we heard no noise and the hotel was well signposted. Staff were efficient and always helpful. Comfortable room. Breakfast was a Continental buffet with a lot of choice but, apart from boiled eggs, no hot food. A good way to start the day. It was easy to walk to the station for trains to Amsterdam or the airport.

When we arrived it was Friday night, a guy from the front office treated us very bad, we choose a 2 beds room and apparently it was full and there were no rooms with 2 beds. He started saying that those things happens because you have chosen the cheapest option and that is what happens when you don’t want to spend money, while he was laughing. That night we were very upset trying to look for another hotel to move. Then the following morning luckily Manuela appeared and helped us to solve this matter in a very kindly and professional way. That is the only reason we are rating a 7. You need to walk 15 min to find transport that takes you to the city center, so in total you will need an hour to arrive. The rooms have no minibar

If you did not access by car, it should have been advised that the property is outside of the Amsterdam Metro area and accessible by train only which is about as kilometer away. At the time of our visit, there was quite a lot of construction around the hotel making access complicated.

The room was quite good. The bathroom was modern and very clean. Good continental breakfast.

We had a very nice stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Hoopddorf, The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and went above and beyond their duties to help us. The hotel was very comfortable. We will be going back there.
