Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThere is no oven. We had brought a couple of pizza's from Lidl, however discovered there was no oven when we came to cook them. The hotel only did breakfast, no evening meals or bar. The plug in the kitchen sink did not work, so it was a little tricky to wash anything up. Overall a great hotel.
Great location. Within a 5 minute walk to a main metro station. Lidl is a 2 min walk away along with a restaurant. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and quiet at night. Staff were welcoming and always happy to help with any queries. I had contact from them before our stay, giving me routes and travel advice, along with answering any of my questions during our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

PolandCleaning was quite frustrating. We went off at 10:30 from the room. We came back at 16:30 and there was still no cleaning. Then we decided to check the quality of the cleaning. It was disappointing. Dirty glasses, no new towels, badly-washed cups and plates. It was the only bad thing.
Price, amenities, and personnel. Everything was perfect. A special benefit was the kitchen with all the needed equipment.

Clean, modern, spacious. Where friendly and helping staff, perfect breakfast (absolutely worth the price, you won’t find anything cheaper in this city). Location is good, metro is in 10 minutes by foot. Lots of parks and cafés. Rooms are clean and big enough, soundproof is OK, couldn’t hear neighbors. Wonderful!

This is a superb property located 200 meters from the bus stop enabling easy access to the metro station to travel to central Amsterdam or anywhere else and also has a super market right at the corner. The property was super clean, well equipped and the staff were super helpful. The hotels is nicely tucked in a calm neighbourhood excellent to walk around and safe and you will be able to find places to eat and a beautiful park just 2 stations away by bus. Would recommend taking breakfast at the hotel as it wad delicious and would be much cost effective with hot buffet. Very comfortable stay.

RussiaMore expensive than we would be hoping for, but Amsterdam is very expensive in general, so it is not a problem of the hotel.
Far from the center, but we like to walk so we never took a bus or a train and for us this was an advantage. Very comfortable room, perfect breakfast, very helpful staff, quiet area, could rent a bike (a lot of parks nearby). Supermarket is in 1 min walk from the building. And you have a kitchenette. Matrasses are awesome. Tiny balcony (for smokers it matters). Lift. Definitely recommend.
